So there's a good chance I'll get stuck in the Cleveland area for a few days next week. Anything to do other than the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?

      I'm pretty sure I can figure out what to do with that without comments from the peanut gallery.

    Too bad it's fall, had it been summertime I'd recommend Cedar Point in nearby Sandusky, Ohio.

    Fancy a drive to Columbus? Ohio State is playing Indiana...
    You might look up Sauder's Museum - it's a few hour drive, but a nice place.
  • Depends on where you are. East or West side, Downtown? East Side gives you access to Little Italy (good restaurants and galleries there), Cleveland Heights (good wine bar there off of Coventry), the Museum circle. The eclectic little toy store, Big Fun (1827 Coventry Rd) is also fun. Old school toys there, wierd stuff, T-shirt iron ons. And across the street is the Winking Lizard, a pretty good bar n' grill. Um, down on the lake near the R&R Hall of Fame is the Science center (just to the West?) a

      Kent, but nothing going (Akron?) between there and Cleveland. And sadly, for various reasons, nothing in any way alcohol related.

      Depending on who goes with me, Big Fun might be a winner.
  • but art museums are not the sort of thing everyone enjoys. you could trek over to lakewood and visit sielwolf's favorite record store, bent crayon [bentcrayon.com].

    for as much time as i've spent in cleveland, i'm not much help on things to do.

    Gwar is coming to the House of Blues. Stick around and Frank Black is coming on the 30th.
