Journal ellem's Journal: Politics is frustrating if you don't pick a side.... 34
I haven't. Probably never will pick a side. They both suck. This year I picked a side and won... yay. Boo.
ellem believes:
1) Abortion should be legal. By State. Get it out of the US Constitution.
2) Gay Marriage should be legal. By State.
3) Any child pornography. Not just naked children. Naked children involved in sex yadda yadda should be illegal by Federal Law. Kill, KILL perpetrators of child pronography. Use the most painful methods of rehabilitation for the purveyors of child pornography the first time KILL them the second time. Seriously. Don't fuck around with these clowns. If you can't fix them once Kill them.
4) Clearly I believe in the Death Penalty.
5) I don't trust lawyers and I don't trust the ACLU.
6) Guns need to be registered. You probably don't need an AK47 but if you want it get it. If yours is used in a crime you do the EXACT SAME TIME as the criminal.
7) Violent criminals do not need to be rehabilitated. Put them in jail for a very long time. If you walk into a store with a gun and kill someone -- you die. If you kill a cop while perping a crime -- you die.
8) Drug laws suck. Don't do drugs. It's easy. And cheap. Think Marijuana should be legal? Start electing people who think so too.
9) Drive drunk and kill someone with your car -- you die. Drive drunk and get caught. You go to jail and you go through the most painful rehabilitation they can muster. I like to drink. A lot. It takes about 15 beers to make me drunk. I drink in places I don't have to drive. It's easy.
10) If you abuse a Social Service you got to jail. If you do it again you're on your own and you lose your kids. Thank you, come again.
11) Military Service should be compulsory. Don't like killing people you get to go to the Peace Corps. Peace Corps full? You get a non combatant role, maybe learn a trade. Non combatant roles all taken up? You get to help out in America. Build a road, teach people to read, yadda yadda. Most people will take a gun trust me.
12) Taxes are a gift to the Government. You get 20% period. You make less than 25,000/yr you pay 10%. There are no loop holes. You get no money back. Have 87 kids, that's great give me my 20%. You gave 40B to charity, cool, now gimmie 20%.
13) You own a business? How many people do you employ? 0-10, 10-50, 50-100, 100-250... some egghead can do the math. Every single job you outsource subtracts 5 employees. You go into negative numbers - oh man you are going to pay a whole fuck load in taxes. CPAs are abolished.
14) Speaking of abolished:
The FCC
Department of Education
Department of Agriculture
Department of Tea
Department of Departments
CIA, SS, FBI, et al all become one big happy family. Period.
There are many more. You want to see the Government downsized? I'll do it and leave the USMil intact. Overwhelming force makes people nervous. Good.
15) You are responsible for you and yours. Your kid causing trouble in school. YOU have a problem. Extrapolate amongst yourselves.
16) There's more but I am hungry...
17) If you are a washed up whore who never had any singing talent to begin with you are forbidden from covering "Imagine" you don't really get it anyway.
