When I was a young, newly minted Paralegal Assistant, I had a cube next to a Senior Paralegal. She was on the phone one day talking sweet as could be to a vendor needing some documents copied. I knew she was ticked at them so I asked why she was being so nice.
"You get more flies with honey," was her reply.

A couple hours later I heard her yelling at the same vendor and cussing like a drunken sailor who'd just cut off his leg with a chainsaw. I asked about the honey.
