Fortunately I don't use XCode often, but when I do it's so annoying. It's very much one of those things where you feel like they are doing certain things differently purely to be different. We've pretty much got a standardized IDE concept that is widely adopted across many products - everything from web-based IDEs for Microcontrollers to the developer tools in a web browser (and of course everything else from the Visual Studio products to JetBrains). But XCode just has to be different in its own ways, which hurts productivity.
But then I still have a very bad taste in my mouth for XCode / iOS development from creating apps back with iOS 2.0 when it was a pure nightmare to do all the provisioning and signing and everything else through a convoluted process.
