So don't allow your model a tool to do that?

Do you even know how any of this works? Because it seems you don't know how any of this works. You can restrict what commands a model can run, so give it a setup that denies any access to `ip` or `networkmanager` or whatever.

Try not being a paranoid ignorant.

You could try Fsck'n off. Restricting the commands seemed to work SO well for the people who wrote the agents. I am sure YOU can fix it all and everything will be peachy. In the mean time I again suggest Fsck'n off :)

I've a friend who uses the Libra monitors and they are not good. They lose connection and can't reconnect, meaning you have to use a new one. She runs out of them every order and spends weeks testing the old fashioned way via strip. If one comes loose it is also useless and has to be replaced. She uses a bandage to secure them. The tech has a way to go before it is full-proof, or even generally useable for an active person.

Of course an AI agent has never lied or misused available resources, like your neighbors default password wifi ? I can think of many uses for a truly isolated local AI instance. In a book I read as a teenager, the hero made an AI called Oscar. I've been hooked since then.

I own a house 40 minutes outside of SF in the East bay. I lived there for years and loved the area. My parents aged out and retired in Yuma. I am the care giver for both. I rent my house out and live with Ye olde folks. The politics are weird in Cali but the atmosphere is awesome and there is so much to do. Cost is insane but if you can work in that market you can live outside the SF proper. I like where I am at now, but it is 3-5 hours for any sort of culture. Phoenix is 3 hours, San Diego is 3 hours, Vegas is 4.5 hours. I am going to see Alan Parson in Sept in Phoenix, and I 'll have to stay at a hotel rather than try and drive home that night.
