I used the hell out of MS Works. It did what I needed quickly and without the HUGE bloat of M$Office and Word. Though I came from a GML background so it was easy...
LMAO...I wish I had mod points...you deserve it.
Just apply the Formula. At a certain point, the opportunity cost of not selling your data exceeds the cost of getting caught and having to pay some paltry fines, so they effectively have a legal obligation to their shareholders to do so.
It is cognitively expensive to do this kind of task. Essentially you are expected to assume an alien thought process with no context or explanation. I don't think it's unique or novel form of cognitive load, though. I think it's very similar to what a therapist or psychoanalyst will do... you need a sort machine empathy to try to arrive at the same solution and judge whether it's appropriate. These people were trained as programmers but they're actually computer therapists now.
Clearly the solution is more AI.

I really like this approach. The next step would be to put ads directly into the source code. Soon you'll see comments like
** THIS FUNCTION WAS BROUGHT TO YOU BY EXPRESSVPN
** USE CODE COPILOT26 FOR 90% OFF THE 3 YEAR PLAN
**/
You could quickly monetize your open source projects this way.
Let's all get on our knees and say ten Hail Steves:
Hail Steve, full of vision,
Innovation is with thee.
Blessed art thou among creators,
And blessed is the fruit of thy mind, Apple.
Holy Steve, pioneer of design,
Guide us in simplicity and boldness,
Now and at the hour of creation.
Amen.
But Mg is too easily confused with mg, so if someone messes up you may be getting your prescriptions delivered via dumptruck.
That's a cool idea. Really dystopian. I love it.
I saw it in the theater and while the movie was good, I do think the cinematography doesn't warrant seeing it on a big screen. It seems to have been shot for TVs primarily, so you're not going to be missing anything by seeing it at home.
I think that's a side quest in Fallout 4
What, you don't believe them, given their stellar track record?
For context, Walmart acquired Vizio and its SmartCast OS for approximately $2.3 billion in December 2024.
This is just the next step of an overarching plan to compete with Amazon's smart device ecosystem.
As strategies go, it seems kind of cargo cult-y but what do you expect from Walmart.
It wasn't banned before? Stackoverflow banned it 3 years ago. Get with the times.
Make it myself? But I'm a physical organic chemist!
