The problem is they aren't in parks and playgrounds riding their "e-bikes" (they're more electric motorcycle than bicycle). They're on the road with cars and major traffic. I see it, particularly, in more affluent neighborhoods (Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, Santa Monica).

And we're not talking about a few... They're everywhere -- particularly after school hours and weekends.

We, in the US, have PLENTY of sensible common sense laws already passed by legislators...actually probably too many currently.

But why not start enforcing those first...before you start infringing on the rights of people living and using their tools lawfully?

I keep them all loaded and chambered, especially the ones I carry concealed when out and about....

Hmm...you might just consider the problem is not the tool...but, and follow me on this.....but the human abusing or misusing said tool.....

Sensible Rental truck laws?

Sensible Knife Laws?

Sensible hammer laws?

Sensible....well you get the point.

Most anything can be misused and can (and have been) used to mass kill people.....

Those small minorities of people shouldn't ruin a good thing for the majority of law abiding citizens should they?

The E-bikes without the hassle of registering, etc were fun for kids and even grownups to scoot around, but if you're going to be treated like a motorcycle, you might as well get a real one and realize the benefits of having a real bike.

Nope....I make more $$ doing what I do now for less effort.

But when I drive...I drive for hours at a time with few if any stops....that's why an EV would not suit me or my lifestyle, I could not deal with having to stop and pause 30+ minutes on a 6-8 hour drive, possibly multiple times.....I hit the road and generally don't stop till I get there, except to use 5-10 minutes to gas up and pee midway....

It's totally different in a place like the US. We have more land than we could reasonably populate and plenty of natural resources. We could absorb enormous numbers of people and we would be better off for it.

No....we have room for people that WANT to assimilate into the US, learn the common language, and believe in what the US stands for....not to come in and tear it down and form into something else.

Wanting to come here and start sharia law....that's a hard NO.

We do not want people coming here that on a basic level disagree with what the US stands for, what the US constitution was set up for, and do not want people that do not want to become a US citizen and embracing what we stand for.....we do not want people coming into the US and staying, that hold loyalty and allegiance to foreign countries and entities over the good will and preservation of the USA.

Their M chips with unified shared memory is uniquely set up to work with AI....often for cheaper than the Win alternative.

That being said, the Minis, especially with more than basic RAM are getting hard to get with longer shipping times...due to popularity combined with likely release of M5 Mac minis in June.

But it's a great platform to work with I'm playing with one I got a month or so ago with 24GB ram. Not large enough for large models, but works great with a couple of smaller ones as I work to learn setting up Agents, orchestration, etc....
