mowing 6 acres with a lawn mower? that should be a crime in its own. invest in 20-25 goats and a fence. not sheep. sheep are stupid and they smell. goats are smart. you'll find that looking at them is really relaxing. they'll also keep your lawn at golf-course grade length. price? sell your john deere and you should have enough to buy the lot.

Submission + - Tesla Sues BBC's Top Gear For Libel (allcarselectric.com) 3

thecarchik writes: About two years ago BBC's Top Gear aired a test drive of the then relatively new Tesla Roadster. In the particular episode, Tesla Roadsters are depicted as suffering several critical “breakdowns” during track driving. Host Jeremy Clarkson concludes the episode by saying that in the real world the Roadster "doesn’t seem to work"

Tesla claims that the breakdowns were staged, making most of Top Gear'(TM)s remarks about the Roadster untrue. Tesla also states that it can prove Top Gear’s tests were falsified due to the recordings of its cars’ onboard data-loggers.

What's Tesla asking for in the lawsuit? Tesla simply wants Top Gear to stop rebroadcasting the particular episode and to correct the record.

Submission + - HP to put WebOS on PCs in 2012

Stenchwarrior writes: Hewlett-Packard’s chief executive officer Leo Apotheker announced that WebOS will be on every PC that HP ships in 2012. A move to attract more developers and push the operating system from mobile devices onto desktops. Apotheker made the announcement during a presentation to HP’s staff in India, according to a report by Bloomberg.

It’s not likely that WebOS will supplant existing operating systems on PCs, but rather would run on top of Windows to be able to launch WebOS apps. HP had previously announced its plans to push WebOS on to PC’s last month, but, at the time, the company didn’t reveal the scope of its commitment to the operating system. We now know that HP means each and every PC it sells starting in 2012 will have WebOS installed.

As far as local news go, he is just the author of virus and had no other relation to botnet. He sold the virus to various folks for around 500-1500 and mariposa guys were just one of many buyers. so the only thing he can be tried for is production of malicious software. Also, he was already bailed out after preliminary hearing.

The point is marriage is not a right, it's a license. The limited purpose of marriage is procreation (although it is not a requirement). Gays cannot procreate. We also limit marriage so you can't marry mulitple spouses, the same gender, immediate family, animals or objects.

Since the dawn of time, the family, consisting of a husband, wife, and their children, has been the fundamental unit of society. Now, gays want to legitimize their recreational lifestyle by demanding marriage. You can do whatever you want in the privacy of your bedroom, but we are not going to alter the whole structure of our civilization for your sexual preference.
