Does your USB-C port support Thunderbolt or not? What kind, which is important because later Thunderbolt can carry a lot of voltage... I think it's on the new Mac mini the thunderbolt USB-C are all on the back, but none on the front (even though there is USB-C on the front).
In theory it's a better world I guess when all connectors are just USB-C. In reality for users though, it sure seems prone to issues.
There is already one known case of revision - for a bit some Macbook Pros charged only over a USB-C port. But they (WISLEY) reverted back to the beloved MagSafe connector for primary power supply, even though I believe you can still charge via USB-C....
I guess maybe a higher end data connection like Thunderbolt over USB-C still makes some sense as probably anyone actually needing Thunderbolt will know what they are doing... but I am 100% sure mistakes will be made and some consumers will be getting a fraction of the data speed they could have from port confusion.
Most of the "dust" probably comes off the occupants in the form of dead skin and hair.
Some does sure, but if you live is most places in the west that have an arid to semi-arid climate, you get the same dust outside as in so a lot of it really is environmental.
Also pollen can be a major component of dust in areas that are more humid. And it's worse to clean being more sticky.
It seems like the human body has to have time to build up tolerance and resistance.
If you have a sealed house with near perfect filtration, whenever you go outside you are going to be miserable, and possibly get kind of sick (or at least have your immune system weakened to get sick via other means).
While I would dearly love to seal up a house so much outside dust would never bean issue, I value my own family's health too much to strive for something like that...
Seems just as effective to use natural air temperature to heat or cool your house as much as possible and use solar panels to power any offset you have to have from that, with a light but constant air flow as much as possible.
The fact that on macbook it was not possible and event 48GB means a huge cost increase
You can now order MacBook Pros with 128GB of memory. I think you missed a few updates.
It's a little expensive, yes, but also very fast and reliable memory.
They canâ(TM)t just revive since that staff is long gone now probably at Adobe.
I totally agree with not being able to bring back the original codebase, so was imagining an all new application, with Pixelmator taking up the editing part.
I don't think this is probably the case, but my hope would be acquiring this means Apple plans to bring back Aperture, the photo management and editing tool. There still is not anything quite like it.
I thought Burning Man was a hippy, alternative culture sort of thing.
I thought exactly the same thing, if I were ever to go I assume I'd just show up on a flaming chariot or something, and camp wherever.
I mean how do they even check for tickets?? It looked like chaos driving in from all the pictures I've ever seen.

Are the employees permanently deleted or just removed from device and still in the cloud?
It is an Apple device. You donÃ(TM)t need to turn it off and on again.
Wrong, because it's ALSO a UNIX device, which means you can use shutdown -r now if you need to shut it down, or use a menu item to tell it to shut down...
And because it's an Apple device it would power on from an external keyboard so what's your damage Heather?
Are you proposing they cut UBI at age 55 or 60? Why?
Of course not.
Not sure why you said that.
My point stands.
No better being a cow forever than it is to be one until you are 60.
More free time but lower earnings means they have saved up less for later in life... it might be a gain of the moment with a loss of comfort longer term.
Cows have a pretty good life also, until the end. Do you want to live like a cow?
It's no surprise climate "scientists" are mocked, because their predictions keep deviating substantially from real world results.
The same thing happens to weathermen, which makes sense because if you think about it these climate guys are just weathermen on a longer timeframe, only they pretend like they are way more accurate than weathermen with zero track record to prove it.
At least local weather predictions have improved over the years, if the climate guys were not fixated on agendas other than finding facts then maybe they could start to achieve accurate results as well.
From personal experience it seems to me like Claude.ai actually does handle programming specific questions better than other chatbots.
It still can hallucinate but if you want to run anything programming related you may want to give Claude a try.
