But the rule of law has not been fatally undermined in Hungary,
Oh, come on! They Orban has a friendly general attorney who isn't willing to investigate anything that would threaten Orban's power. Hungary and Poland just vetoed an EU motion that would tie the use of EU funds to proper rule of law. (Like joining the European Public Prosecutor's Office.)
Piracy of Photoshop is rampant in less developed countries. I doubt that many people will be steered towards OSS by this move.

Iran doesn't have a nuclear energy program. If they did then they wouldn't be threatening to enrich more uranium to get leverage on trade sanctions.
They were using dual use technology. They're borderd by two countries that the US has invaded, so it's not a surprise they get antsy. The only countries the US doesn't mess with are nuclear powers.
If they honestly wanted to build a nuclear energy program then they'd open up their power plants to inspections so that they could get the materials and expertise needed to get them running. If these were power plants, and not weapons factories, then they'd have no reason to maintain such secrecy.
Iran did comply with these inspections until their deal with the US was off.

Well, Twitter was stupid to allow to change the name of a verified account without doing the verification again.
Meanwhile SuperPac Man just gobbles up all the points and uses them to lobby the game developer.
What counts as social skill depends on the society.
FYI people didn't work 12-16 hours on a farm on a regular basis, the industrial revolution made people work longer hours than before.
