Except, of course, for the fact that this isn't a civil war. A civil war is a fight between various factions in a nation's army over which one is going to control the government. For examples, see the various wars between successful Roman generals at the end of the Roman Republic, and later when they were fighting over which one would be the next emperor. The English Civil War is another excellent example. What's going on in Ukraine is simply an attempt by Russia to conquer Ukraine and loot what's left.

They're easier to conceal, and they're more likely to be fumbled.

And for fools who learn how to use them from watching TV and/or movies, much less likely to be properly held or used. Ever notice how the bad guys hold handguns in one hand, often holding it so that the gun's horizontal and they can't even see where it's pointing and blaze away while the good guys use a two handed grip and shoot single aimed rounds? When that happens in Real Life, guess who's going to miss most. Not the cops, that's for sure, and they won't be the ones running out of ammo first, either. One of the big reasons why there aren't huge casualty lists after most shootouts is simply that most crooks have no idea how to use their weapon properly or make any effort to learn.

The calls seem to come in "bursts", I'll get no scam calls for weeks then day after day of scammers calling me. I'll get a dozen such calls in a day.

This is because the scammers keep logs of who answered numbers, and sell lists of "known good numbers" to other scammers in bulk to feed their autodialer systems.

I tell the scammers the guy they are looking for is dead, which I have good reason to suspect is true, but that message doesn't seem to register with them.

They don't care. They care that someone actually answered the line. Therefore there's a human there, therefore it's sellable to other scammers to try to scam you.

Some will claim to be from a "TV provider" and need me to give some information off a cable or satellite box, I wonder how that scam is supposed to be profitable.

It's probably a variant of the "iPhone upgrade" scam. They're going to try to get you to give them enough information about your account that they can then take it over, order new equipment off of your recorded payment method, and then steal said equipment for resale.

Mental Illness is an awfully harsh term to throw around for homosexuality as every psychological organization in the first world considers it irreversible. All using terms like that accomplishes is to encourage discrimination and make these peoples lives miserable. In other words, using terms like that is a great way to show you really dont give a shit about these people's well being.

I was thinking more of the trans stuff we see nowadays.

But hey, I guess everything is "normal now", eh?

No matter your sexual slant....like to fuck animals? Sure, natural.

Wanna fuck dead bodies? Sure...it's natural....

Wanna fuck little kids? Trees? Etc....

And no..I really don't give a shit about most peoples' well being.

I really don't care much at all except for people that are close to me that matter....family, friends...etc.

It's a cultural phenomenon. If you've ever lived there or known anyone who lives there (or heard hours-long rants from certain now-dead radio hosts that used to live there), you'll know that old-school New Yorkers see non-AC households as a mark of pride or honor or . . . something. It's weird but it's a thing.

Damn...sometimes...Yankees be weird!!!
