Systemd should be a different OS and not a kludge on Linux.
It kind of is a different OS, but it's gestating inside of Linux, growing every year, and at some point it will start deprecating Linux out of the nest and eventually we'll all be running SystemD-OS (which used to include Linux, back in the day).
and test ALL your food on a hamster first.
But only a hamster that you don't like.
How do you arrest someone in absentia ?
It's just a reminder that when you're just renting, Apple owns everything and are just letting you use it.
For the record, I wasn’t locked out of using any of my systems - only from using any of Apple’s online services. My Mac, iPad, and iPhone continued to work just fine and continued to allow me to run whatever applications I wanted.
Given that, you could apply your silly statement to every online service in the world, including here on

Even more confusing: The explosions we will see in 80 years, in 160 years, in 240 years... have already happened too.
What's the deal, is it just broadcasting re-runs?
Now let's see your ChatGPT equally compelling Maxist and Feminist critiques of science.
Charging $199 doesn't make much sense? Do you not like money?
It doesn't make sense to pay $199 for another set of hardware that does the same things as the hardware you already paid for and carry around with you.
I hope that clarified things.
It hit me right in the middle of a FaceTime call. Lost the call, was logged out of everything, and was then required to change my password. Wound up getting locked out, and had to use my wife’s iPhone to get an account unlock code from Apple. Changed password, and then had to go through all my devices to update the password to get back in.
Didn’t take up as lot of time, but really wasn’t something I wanted to have to deal with when it happened. But both my wife’s and my daughters Apple accounts were unaffected.

That works in politics (sadly), not science.
He was hoping it would work in courts too.
Probably an AI will advise the Board.
It's going to use a RTG.
One of the high technology parts of the French TGV trains is that they are capable of running on old track at non-TGV speeds. BrightLine really should do the same, the train slows down a lot, but does continue on to Union Station after stopping at Rancho Cucamunga. There should not be a need to change trains.
Isn't that illegal in Texas and Florida?
The machine I had was a HeathKit H19. This had it's own OS called HDOS. Not sure what the quality of that was or how it compared to CP/M. However the hardware also had ROM mapped to the first 2K or so (to run the program controlling the front panel display) which made it incompatible with CP/M. I somewhat remember it was already clear that all the good software was only for CP/M and I had the wrong machine and HeathKit screwed up. Anybody else remember these, have any comments on them? It does sound like creating HDOS was not a trivial amout of work, was anything interesting lost with it?
