Summary: Communication is the company in general has benefited thanks to this great platform. When we started using it, we really did not see significant changes in business communication, however after two weeks of use, we did not have as an employee they had built various chat channels that served as a work team, where they could diversify the way they communicate and share ideas in real time. I must admit that this platform has been quite beneficial for our company, our general experience with Slack has been magnificent. From the moment it arrived at our company, we noticed how little by little the mode of communication was changing and it was providing chat channels totally stable where users can send unlimited messages. This platform has been quite easy to use, all its actions are very well organized, also setting up a chat channel is quite simple and does not have a complex configuration for any user regardless of whether or not they have previous experience, It is also important to mention its excellent integration with cloud storage services, this integration has made it possible for us to share files stored in our cloud with various users directly through this Chat channel. It is also important to highlight that this platform is being used in our sales sector, but also some employees from another sector are using it because they want to improve their communication with their employees, we fully appreciate this platform for belonging to our large-scale company.

Positive: Slack is considered by us as one of the best options to develop a stable communication system and to be able to communicate with different parts of a work team. Slack Jose an unsurpassed interface with its general interface for users is quite attractive, the comfort it represents for all users is great, in addition its interface is quite easy to use and helps users to enter various communication channels without any complexity . There are several things that I have liked within our experience with this platform, the most outstanding positive things were the following:

- The chat offered by this platform works in real time, all the messages will be received and sent instantly, you will not have to wait any additional time for the messages to be processed, in addition all the chats work simultaneously, the channels chat will not be interrupted by alternative channels, they all work in the same way and the messages will be processed immediately. So this is one of the best features that this platform has because it helps conversations to be much more fluid, and messages are delivered to their recipients in just a few seconds.

- I love the fact that you can create unlimited channels, with a paid plan you can create unlimited chat channels, so it's easy to create channels for a specific company area, plus employees can create channels too no matter how separate they are private and that only specific people have access to. It's amazing to be able to create multiple chat channels, as this helps communication within our company sometimes be called private.

- The application available for mobile devices and tablets works wonderfully, this application is very well structured and has an excellent notification system which helps keep you informed when there is a new message within a chat channel and also notifies you when it has been mentioned in a specific channel. This app also sends notifications when you receive direct messages from Slack. The application in particular works wonderfully, it offers an experience similar to the version for computers, the communication in the various Chat channels is quite fluid and it also works in real time, so you can talk with your entire work team no matter where you are wherever you are and regardless of whether you are using a computer or your mobile phone.

- I love the method of sending attachments within each message you send in the Team Chat channels. Within each communication channel you can send files, such as documents or images, All the files that are transferred or sent and through these Chat channels will be stored in the cloud, so you can access all those files received from immediately and without the need to download them.

Negative: Within this platform, all the functionalities serve their purpose really, I have no complaints about the general functionality. However, I must mention below some things that I would like to be integrated into this platform and that would help make this experience even more complete and would allow users to have greater versatility when it comes to communicating with each other. , these missing things are as follows:

- It is necessary that simply some function of videoconference or some function of conversation through Camera and audio, currently the only way to communicate within this platform is through a chat in real time with simultaneous channels. It would be great to have a mode of communication where multiple people can join a room and turn on their camera, so they could converse much more fully and communication would benefit on a large scale. I must admit that communication through Slack's real-time chat is quite beneficial for everyone, however, it would be even better if a communication system through Camera and audio is implemented.

- Within this platform it is also not possible to share a computer screen through chat channels, it would be excellent to be able to share a screen or a screen transmission with the participants of a Chat channel, this would help make remote work even more much more benefited and would also allow users to interact even more. This feature is quite necessary as it would help employees to meet in a specific channel and discuss some specific idea through screen sharing.

Summary: Overall, Slack in an amazing application to communicate with colleagues and teammates. It makes the communication fat and less reliant on emails.

Positive: - It helps in communication between teammates working on a specific project.
- It can be easily integrated with third-party applications.
- Messages can be scheduled for a specific time.
- The application is easy to use and set up.
- It is also available on the smartphone.

Negative: - The desktop version of the application is not as intuitive as the smartphone one, especially the set-up process in desktop feels quite messy.

Summary: Overall it's a neat software. It works like a private message board. Cool to have conversations organized under individual topics, which would be harder to do with email, and it allows people to choose what they're digesting.

Positive: Works better than email when there's a big group that is working on several different projects since it keeps topics organized, but still allows good group communication.

Negative: I seem to miss messages here and there because of how things are organized. I don't use it a ton, so it may just be me.

Summary: Overall we are very happy with Slack. Both its design and easy-of-use are amazing. Even though there are a few bugs sometimes and they could improve on workflows, we will keep on using Slack for the years to come.

Positive: -Very quick and easy to call people

Negative: -There is currently no option to automatically add new profiles to group channels even though there is a user group management function.
-Password resetting is nearly impossible in workspaces.
-There is a bug where during screensharing the screen will sometimes just freeze

Summary: It's a great business communication tool overall. New features are good. Can communicate with your peers in the company quickly and notifications work really well. I use this everyday and it is a primary tool that we use to communicate. JIRA integration and integrations with Zapier makes it really productive.

Negative: Using threads are a bit cumbersome.
Calls are unreliable and bad quality.
Message seen option would have been great.

Summary: Overall, Slack helps in connecting with team members working on the same projects, it helps in discussing ideas and sharing resources over the chat.

Positive: - Different channels can be created for different work groups that helps in separating teams working on different projects.
- the notifications are almost instantaneous, which always helps in keeping track of the chat.
- The paid version of the application is affordable and provides value for the money spent by providing extra features resulting in improved productivity.
- It can be easily integrated with other third-party application like Jira, which helps a lot in keeping track and discussions of the tickets by making dedicated chat channels for them.

Negative: - The user interface of the application is not easy-to-navigate.
- It can be a bit difficult to use initially as the UI feels cluttered and all over the place.

Summary: I consider that my general experience with Slack has been good, there have been various problems such as the previously mentioned search system, which does not search for keywords showing old results, but there are some flaws that can be improved by the Slack team to give us a better experience. The Slack system has behaved wonderfully, I have been able to have fluid conversations at all times both with my colleagues within my sector, as well as with other colleagues from the Finance and Projects sectors. We're a pretty big company, and Slack has been really helpful, it keeps us all connected at all times, I can send direct messages to my bosses and co-workers. The notification system has been very good, with notifications without delays. Slack needs to improve the integration it has with MailChimp, since currently in our company we use MailChimp to handle sales and advertising, so it would be great if these two platforms (Slack and MailChimp) have a good integration, with faster report export . This bad integration doesn't change my opinion about Slack, I still consider it to be a pretty good software, it keeps communication constant in my company and that is worth a lot, so I hope they can improve the few flaws they have.

Positive: The most positively striking features about Slack were:

- Slack sends me notifications about everything that happens in my work network or when I am mentioned in a specific network. I receive notifications from Slack on my cell phone, email and via SMS. These notifications are instant, so I can know the exact moment when they mention me in a message or when they need me to participate in a discussion.

- The chat rooms are quite organized, the messages in each chat room are received instantly, there are no delays in sending or receiving messages.

- Each labor sector of my company has a chat room, so it is easy to separate each sector, so that each one has a chat room with their colleagues from the same sector. It is a fairly easy mechanism to be organized and for the sectors to maintain a more integrated communication.

- The interface design is quite attractive, it has a very colorful interface, easy to use, easy to understand and above all, easy to configure.

Negative: - The word search system is one of the things I didn't like at all about Slack. The keyword search system is functional, but not 100%, currently, when we search for a word, it does not show the oldest results, but until an exact date, there is no way to find older results. Old results are obscured by the search system, and shouldn't be, it should display all of them.

- It has a terrible integration with the MailChimp system, currently, the export of Marketing reports to the Slack platform to share this matter with my colleagues, takes a long time to be carried out successfully, the information takes a long time to be shared through this network.

Summary: Overall this solution provides all of the necessary features, while there is some room for improvement as far as notifications are concerned.

Positive: We utilize Slack for internal communication with one of the nonprofits that we serve as an outsourced finance officer for and it works great! The best feature is the ability to create shared, private, group chats.

Negative: One thing I don’t like is the inability to receive notifications unless you’re tagged in the message.

Negative: - Notification timing and synchronization can be improved.

Positive: Reliability - You can reply on the software as it rarely goes down
Usability - It is a very easy to use software and you can just sign in and start using right away. Very intuitive.
Features - Packs a lot of useful features like starting threads on conversations, deleting a message that is posted in error, usability on mobile apps

Negative: Calls do not work seamlessly. When you answer a call, it just drops sometimes and we prefer using other software for calls.

Summary: Slack is a great tool to allow for day-to-day communication with other team members. While pricing is very fair, the platform is still limited and has room to allow for more product features to ensure a better enhancement to team work.

Positive: There are several benefits to using Slack in comparison to other work collaboration tools:

Negative: There are several cons associated with Slack:

1. User Experience is not the most friendly when it comes to replying to thread messages (can be a bit hard to navigate).
2. Platform is mainly limited to messaging, and could add more value if it offer tools to collaborate on team deadlines (like Monday.com/Asana).

Summary: Overall a good communication platform that is used heavily by my org. The biggest ask is that they role out new features to both web/desktop and mobile at the same time. It's frustrating to try to use a new feature only to have it tell me it's not available for mobile yet.

The price of the subscription is affordable and really worth the money spent.

Negative: There are some minor cons that I faced in my usage, the icons are too small in the mobile application that leads to accidental touches. Other than this is a must-have application for any organization.
