Summary: I have used Slack when working for different companies and every single time it was amazing.
It's really good to post questions because you get answers quickly and you can get rooms to separate the subjects.
It keeps an history of your messages and it is specially good when working in a remote environment because of how fast it is to do anything in Slack.

Positive: Easy to use for people into technology.
Good tools.
Great for remote teams.
Way better than email communication for small messages.

Negative: Kinda hard to use if someone who isn't tech savvy.
Need to have everyone on the team using it to be better.

Summary: Slack is a very integral tool and allows teams to communicate more freely and often times less formally than email which allows for things to be done more efficiently and quickly. It is an excellent tool for tracking the progress of projects and an excellent way to keep information about specific clients or projects all in one place.

Positive: I like the ability to add different "channels" to track different projects or clients which cuts down on searching through threads of unrelated messages for information. Slack has great search ability and allows you to search all of your channels and find information quickly. There are some fun emojis and gifs which make communication more lighthearted and fun.

Negative: I find it frustrating that you cannot preview documents uploaded to slack, the only option is to open download the document and then open it which can be time consuming and annoying when you didn't actually want to open a particular document. I would find it very helpful to be able to mark particular messages as unread, as you can do within an email inbox, so that you can easily return to the message.

Summary: Slack has been very beneficial and is very easy to use. I think it is very easy to learn how to use it and would rate it 10/10.

Positive: Slack is very easy to use and has made communication with colleagues very fast and straightforward.

Negative: When a lot of people are on one channel the messages can be a little disorganized and chaotic.

Summary: If you want to simplify your communication to one application, I think Slack would be a great app to do so.

Positive: The Slack app is awesome. I really like being able to connect different apps to my Slack channel (such as Google Calendar, Dropbox, etc.). It makes it much easier to balance a busy schedule!

Negative: I have only had issues with using trying to integrate some apps into my Slack channel, but most of the issues are due to the app itself, not Slack. So no cons from me!

Summary: I'd recommend this for anyone that has a team and is needing an efficient way to keep updated and collaborate remotely!

Positive: Slack is super easy to set up for a team. We use it with a team of 25 and it's super convenient for us to be able to collaborate all in one area and in channels.

Negative: There is a small learning curve when you start using it but you can adapt to it pretty easily if you use it consistently.

Summary: It's great and I would recommend to any company needing a quick and efficient way to communicate to use it.

Positive: Love how you can create channels for each clients to organize messages and threads with colleagues.

Negative: It is a little overwhelming when you start using it.

Summary: Overall I would definitely recommend Slack to any business man or woman. It is ideal for projects that are time sensitive, with the function of setting deadlines so everyone involved is aware and accountable.

Positive: If you are running any type of reputable business Slack plays an essential part to your success. It is the perfect way to manage your team members and ensure that they are staying on task, with the ability to set deadlines it keeps all parties accountable.

Negative: There are a lot of features to Slack so it can take some time to effectively learn all of intricate functions.

Summary: Love this app. Seriously it's grown on me. Very glad I started using it because there's tons of platforms using it now.

Positive: Easily organize several chat threads all inside of one area. Helps keep organized and streamline all our communication in one.

Negative: There's a slight learning curve when you first start but it's not bad.

Positive: Intuitive design; the ability to be in multiple Slack teams at once; lots of integrations improves collaboration especially in remote-only/ COVID times, especially with Google Drive and Zoom

Negative: Search functionality is not great, which is the only downside to using this instead of email for all intra-company communication

Summary: Productivity has soared using Slack. We rely on it daily to keep us up to date on projects and reminded of tasks.

Positive: Extremely useful. Easy to search. Allows streamlined communication, rather than communicating by email. Love the reminders feature.

Negative: Can't search past a certain amount of time. But I think that's only come up once or twice in several years.

Summary: Good app. I am using it for two years now and have no issues!

Positive: I like the design of the product and the fact that it is so easy to use!
The reminder feature is extremely helpful to me.

Negative: I have some issues with the dark mode in Slack.
Also, the emojis could always get better!

Summary: It's an amazing product for team communication. It solves communication gap between the team and enhances the team coordinations.

Positive: Slack is very easy to use and any one can use it without any special training. The best part is that it allows to create multiple teams and you can also communicate with one-time account setup.

Negative: I have found only single issue regarding the desktop notification. Some people in our company have reported of a blank screen on startup, but that was due to graphics driver and it is a quick fix. Overall it's a very amazing product for team communication.

Summary: Slack works great for our company and we rely on it heavily. Highly recommend Slack as an alternative, or a complement to email.

Negative: Video chat didn't work great at first, but it seems to work flawlessly now

Summary: Overall, I consider Slack to have been a very complete platform for our team, developers and for the entirety of our technology company. With the help of this platform, we have been able to create a much broader environment that has benefited the general communication of all employees. I really love the way in which we have been able to take advantage of this platform in our company. Each of our employees has been able to communicate directly, but they have also been able to share their opinions and important ideas with all the work teams. With this platform, we have been able to create different communication channels in which we have separately integrated each of the employees, depending on the sectors they have in our company. In this way, we have been able to have a much more complete organization and much more specific communication. I am very grateful for the usefulness that this platform has given me. For a very, very long time, I have been using this platform as a method of communication within the company for over a year. I want to highlight that the results have been innovative and we have been able to create constant communication for the entire company. I am grateful to Slack for its autonomy in business communication.

Positive: In our company, it is absolutely essential to maintain constant communication with the majority of employees of the developer type in order to have collaborative work, which is why our decision was to implement Slack. One of the main things that I liked about this platform is the ease with which I can generate new meetings within it. This platform allows me to generate a new meeting within any communication channel, where several specific employees are integrated. The platform allows me to generate a video or audio meeting, but I can also chat with the members of a channel through messages. I must highlight that each of the meetings that I have generated within this platform have been completely stable and have not had any type of interruption, that has helped with constant communication. I have also liked the platform for mobile devices that this system has offered me, because this platform for my cell phone works incredibly well. I can receive notifications when I have been mentioned within a communication channel, I also receive notifications when I have received direct messages from my employees, and I can also chat in the communication channels and generate new meetings with the help of this application. Slack's design is another fantastic thing, because it gives me the ability to create multiple communication channels and sort them correctly, and it also allows me to integrate new employees into a communication channel in very simple steps.

Negative: One of the main features that need to be improved within this platform is that it is not possible to access the message history of any communication channel. If no Internet connection is active within your device, this is quite negative, since I would like to be able to access old messages or review any type of information and I don't think it is correct that I must have an active Internet connection. Slack does not allow you to send very large files or documents. Within each communication channel, these channels have a certain limit for the number of files or the amount of weight that the files you transfer to your colleagues can have, I am quite negative, since when you want to share a fairly large file with your work team, you will not be able to do so using Slack, it has a very small limit for the weight of each of the files you try to send.

Summary: In general, the service that Slack has offered me has helped to correctly enhance communication in each of the sectors of my company, currently this platform is being used by the marketing, sales, projects, finance, executive area and many more areas. I believe that this platform has kept us connected and in touch, in this way we can share any type of ideas with our team members, and we can also establish direct communication with all members within the same channel, whether to send a communication or to send specific information. The communication that the platform has provided is impressive and I will continue to use it in the long term due to the benefits provided.

Positive: 1- It has different methods of communication, this platform allows meetings to be held via video, audio and chat. This variety of ways of communication helps all work teams to communicate with each other and collaborate constantly, diversifying communication helps to increase collaboration between teams.

2- The Chat system works in real time, this helps all work teams to communicate with each other and receive all messages consecutively, at no time presenting any type of delay in sending and receiving each of the messages within the communication channels.

3- Within each communication channel, all types of files and documents can be transferred, this is very important since it greatly benefits collaborative work, users can send a document or open a document online and edit a document simultaneously with the help of their colleagues.

Negative: 1- The mobile application is not beneficial, since it does not allow sending files or documents that are so heavy, through each communication channel, in addition, notifications of received messages or the start of some type of call, within the communication channels, are not received instantly, the notifications are not instantaneous.

2- You cannot make direct calls to specific users within this platform, the only way to start a call is a group call, where all the members of a communication channel participate, this is negative, since if you want to communicate by call with someone specific, you will have to do it outside the platform.
