Summary: I used PromoTix for my bday event. Everyone thought it was a cute cool idea! It was easy to use. Had cute themes and getting the payout was a breeze.

Positive: Easy link that takes you right to the site! It was easy to use the Payment options as well as add payment options.

Negative: Can’t think of any everything was self explanatory.

Summary: Perfect very flexible and professional.

Positive: Easy quick professional. That it appears on Google for you! It’s easy to enter your information to send to customers.

Negative: The customer service did not update my account to fix dates.
You can’t make changes after you go live.

Positive: As a newbie to using this type of ticket selling, I had lots of questions and concerns. Every representative from this company patiently and quickly answered all of my questions and concerns.

Negative: All staff that I have interacted with had been professional and knowledgeable. Very quick responses to any questions or concerns.

Summary: My overall experience was interesting due to the fact that I used my IPhone for most of the event setup. I recommend using a laptop or desktop to complete the setup to have a better view of the platform. I definitely will be using PromoTix for my Pro Boxing event in a few months. Thank you for creating such an awesome platform!

Positive: After completing some research, I found that PromoTix was rated the top platform to date. I was able to navigate through most items without any hangups. The streaming option was a surprise gift. It will make the pay-per-view setup much easier. To test the system I purchased the very first ticket to my event, which was verified via email with a QR code that I am able to scan at the door to check-in attendance using just my iPhone. (How convenient?) I am happy I selected PromoTix for my April 6 event!!

Negative: The only glitch I encountered was when I created the tickets to my “paid” event, I selected “make tickets private”. I wasn’t aware that this actually hid the tickets from the public.

Summary: Good app overall and happy to see any app that has lower fees compared to other event apps for tickets.

Positive: Happy with the event for ticket sales. I used this to run a small event and it was seamless! Happy customer.

Negative: None. The app was easy to use and very forward! Thanks.

Summary: Overall I'm very satisfied to have a quality service that costs a fraction of the cost of competing services.

Positive: The whole experience of setting up and event with PromoTix was positive. I was able to pretty quickly get it up and running.

Negative: The interface was slightly convoluted and I think those less technical than myself my struggle a little. Emphasis on a little. I think there's room for improvement when it comes to the user interface and user experience.
I wish there were more options for customizing the design and how the event page looks.

Negative: That you cant use it for everything and Not more of it.

Positive: Love that you can just sell tickets for no commission based as most apps take so much commission I love the qr system too.

Negative: Nothing was bad about the app I have had no issues.

Summary: Great product, great support, fast and easy to set up and use. with support option for payment, quick live feature showing what is live and what needs work. So simple.

Positive: Being a non computer guy, within an hour I had it up and running. very easy instructions and I'm making money everyday.

Negative: Wasn't told they had an upgrade option in the beginning, which i will be purchasing soon. the free option is great as well.

Summary: I really love this site. I am going to promote it towards friends and family. This is really great and I appreciate the support team.

Positive: I really loved that I can promote my concert. I want to sell more tickets soon. I will buy pro eventually, but, I will continue free trial for now.

Negative: It is simple on some steps, harder on others. I would really recommend less words more visuality.

Summary: I highly recommend PromoTix for event organisers that are looking for a simple, free solution to handle the ticket sales.

Positive: Both, the website and the phone app, are very intuitive and easy to use. It provides cool features such as adding discount codes, pictures to the tickets and that you can download reports for the events.
Having the chance to scan the QR codes at the entrance and seeing the amount of tickets that still needed to check in, made the start of the event smooth and fast. Furthermore, PromoTix has one of the lowest prices in the market.

Negative: I didn't like that the balance of the event didn't include the costs of Stripe, so that has to be calculated aside (the Net price only discounts the cost of PromoTix). The website doesn't provide the possibility to register other company for digital payments and doesn't provide the cost of Stripe for each transaction in advance, which felt like a hidden cost. On the other hand, adding both costs (Stripe + PromoTix service) still makes it a good option in comparison with other platforms. Still, information connecting both costs can be improved.

Summary: I just published my first live music event and chose to use PromoTix because of the better pricing than competitors as well as the excellent customer service. Getting to speak or message with a human being, and quickly, is not common these days and when you are trusting your business into someone's hands you need that reassurance before committing. PromoTix went over and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and had all of my questions answered before locking in. The software & website is easy to manage and my ticket purchasers didn't have any problems purchasing tickets nor checking in at the door. Highly recommend.

- cheap fees (even better once underway when I realized the cost for stripe's fee was per transaction, not ticket).

Negative: - no cons.

Summary: I needed to create a ticketed event quickly and this site was everything I needed. I'm not the most tech-savvy person, but I was able to figure this site out without any trouble.

Positive: This site was quick and easy to use! Exactly what I was looking for in a pinch. I liked that I could clone my event and make a couple of tweaks as I am doing the same event twice but at different locations.

Negative: I wish I could add photos to my event page. This is a feature a previous event site had and it really helped my clients get a feel for the type of event I'm promoting.

Summary: Overall, I'm happy with PromoTix so far and I have high hopes for the event! Increasing payout should have a hugely positive impact for small and independent gigs.

Positive: Fees are so much less than other platforms. My last event used Eventbrite and the overall fee they took was around 35% which was a massive blow. My current event on PromoTix hasn't happened yet but I'm hopeful that we'll notice the difference. This is extremely important for grassroots music.

Negative: Setting up the event was a bit confusing as you had to manually save every step and these adjustments would disappear when you tried to preview the event. It wasn't a huge issue though.
