Positive: AMFG has been a fantastic addition to our supply chain operations. It integrates seamlessly with our some of our other system, which has made our whole ordering and fulfilment process much more efficient. We’re able to track orders in real time, which helps us better manage deliveries and avoid unnecessary delays. The really like having the ability to automate certain tasks as it has saved our team countless hours. With the ability to generate custom reports on inventory levels, order statuses, and supplier performance, we’ve gained valuable insights into our operations, this is also a wonderful feature we appreciate. These reports are easy to understand and have helped us make smarter decisions.

Negative: The system can be a bit buggy with certain features. The initial setup was quite something, if we knew now where we would be a few months in to using the system, we would definitely not have seen t the setup as tiresome.

Summary: It could be a little easier to navigate, but overall, I’m happy with it. The services are high quality, and they clearly take pride in their craftsmanship. The turnaround time for orders is reasonable, and they offer a decent range of options for custom machining projects. Customer service is responsive and helpful, which made the process smoother.

Positive: Having all my tasks organized and prioritized in one place has saved me a lot of time.
- ­ I can keep tabs on machine performance and downtime, so I can plan more effectively.

Negative: This system can take some time for getting used to. Adding clearer categories and a search filter would help. That said, once you get the hang of it, it’s manageable.

Summary: AMFG is a strong tool that although the lack of flexibility in certain features has made it less than perfect for our specialized needs. It can still be a useful resource with some adjustments.

Positive: The Integration with CAD Tools. We use advanced CAD software to design prosthetics, being able to upload designs directly into AMFG without reformatting or losing data has been a plus. The fact that we can errors and ensure smoother transitions between design and production is great. They provide some useful tools that we have found to improve how we manage our workflows. I love being able to create clear milestones for each phase of the prosthetic development process and assign tasks to different team members. With AMFG I can definitely see an improvement with how we are able to stay on track.

Negative: We had some challenges with initially tailoring it to some of the specific needs of prosthetic development. We have also found that some parts of the system just don’t align with our project structure, and adjusting them takes a bit of extra effort.

Summary: AMFG is a great addition to our workflow. The features it offers are powerful, and it's made managing production and materials much easier.

Positive: 1. Production Planning: It’s simple for us to assign tasks and keep track of deadlines, making the whole process we have to follow, smoother.

2. Material Tracking: It’s great that I can track everything in real-time without relying on more manual solutions.

3. Integration with CAD: I like that I can directly upload designs from our CAD software and manage this process with reduced manual data entry and trust my team more as there are fewer risks with less manual work.

Negative: I find when we hire new staff it takes them a while to grasp he system fully, but I must say the AMFG team are always willing to assist with whatever training materials we need.

Summary: It’s made my job easier. I don’t have to worry about manual tracking errors or last-minute scrambles to source materials. Our procurement process are better aligned, and my team feels more in control. The time we’ve saved allows us to focus on some more important aspects of the business.

Positive: Since implementing AMFG, I’ve noticed a complete transformation in how we handle our workflows. The automated material requirement planning is without a doubt, their best feature for our business. It integrates really well with our ERP system and has significantly reduced errors in forecasting. I like that I can see real-time updates on stock levels, pending orders, and what’s needed for upcoming projects. My biggest challenges are ensuring we have the right materials at the right time and staying ahead of supply chain disruptions and AMFG has met expectations to manage these challenges better. What is also really impressive is how well the platform adapts to our specific needs. We often deal with suppliers who have varying lead times and pricing structures. AMFG has helped us to track this and suggests optimal ordering times to reduce costs without compromising timelines, which I also like. The built-in analytics have also helped us cut unnecessary spending by identifying inefficiencies in our previous processes. This has made a noticeable impact on our bottom line. The interface is intuitive too.

Negative: I don’t really have any cons yet. If anything, the reporting templates could be a bit more customizable, even though the data is all there, I have to manage these with a work around with exports.

Summary: There is so much AMFG can offer. My whole company has seen the benefits. With their integration options, my accounts and analytics team are also able to pull important information from the system.

Positive: Achieving repeatable production is paramount for our success. With AMFG, we can effortlessly set production parameters and store part specifications in a digital inventory. Each part is produced consistently, eliminating variability and improving quality. The integrated build preparation tools also help optimize print build parameters, resulting in efficient and reliable operations.

Negative: I've been trying to download and save a quote in the front end, but it doesn't always seem to work. It's an important feature that I rely on.

Summary: AMFG has proven to be a valuable asset for manufacturers like us, who prioritize additive manufacturing. By harnessing our knowledge of the AM market, we have witnessed notable improvements in our overall operations.

Positive: - The streamlined inbound order management.
- We can automate and streamline orders from different channels, ensuring smooth
processing and reducing complexity.
- The automated job costings and production tracking features.

Negative: - The system can feel complex at first.
- It’s not as user-friendly as we imagined, some employees battle to grasp the system.
- We cannot add STL files to emails.

Summary: AMFG will be an important tool for our future AM needs. I feel that our company have not really understood the full benefits of the system yet and I hope in time, or with more training this will change

Positive: The software has helped us internalize a few machines and build a small AM rapid prototyping function. I personally like that we can oversee incoming orders from multiple channels.

Negative: The high price of the system, poses a significant financial challenge for us to justify as we are not using the system fully at this stage. It would be great if AMFG catered for small businesses that only make use of 1 or 2 features.

Summary: We have internalized AM as a small part of our company operations. Although not all departments are familiar with AM, we have recognized its potential and have invested in a few machines over the past 2 years. AMFG has provided us with the tools we need to effectively manage these AM operations.

Positive: 1. Customers can submit manual requests for review. 2. Instant quote tool is a game changer. 3. Customers can view order status and access their order and billing history. 4. Meets our post-processing needs.

Negative: If AM is not the main part of your company, the price of AMFG will set you back. It took us a while to rationalize the cost of the system.

Summary: The systems automation features are unlike any other I have worked with. AMFG has done a great job in building a system.

Positive: Increased efficiency is achievable by automation of repetitive tasks. And the software provides real-time data analytics and insights, empowering our business to make informed decisions and optimize our operations.

Negative: The system lacks proper support for SLDPRT file formats. We have experienced issues with trying to upload those files.

Summary: I’ve worked with AMFG for a while now and have put the time and effort into deeply understanding the system and its benefits for my company. Although we only use a small portion of the system for our needs, I am confident that if our services grow, AMFG will grow with them.

Positive: Real-time progress updates have allowed us to catch production faults early on by tracking back-to-back injection moulding cycles.

Negative: My experience with AMFG’s email integration has been frustrating. Every three months, Google forces a password reset, which subsequently breaks the integration. It's a hassle that needs fixing, but I appreciate Google's security measures.

Summary: I am extremely satisfied with the entirety of AMFG, as all my concerns have been dealt with in a highly professional and prompt manner. A great team behind great software.

Positive: I've been keeping an eye on the future capabilities of Injection Molding and this software company is leading the way with their innovative solutions.

Negative: Overall I have been happy with AMFG, there are not too many times we have to contact support with minor issues.

Summary: Our company enjoys how AMFG assists in enhancing additive manufacturing capabilities. The ability to facilitate serial additive manufacturing production has been a key factor in making data-driven decisions, especially as we are heavily invested in additive manufacturing.

Positive: To name a few, the embedded online ordering portal simplifies the quoting process which has positively changed the way we do business for our clients. We have consistent part quality with the post-processing features. The live machine-date and the historical data have given us the information we need to continuously optimize our operations.

Negative: One particular issue I have encountered is related to saving settings with the “charge taxes on shipping rates” box which is unticked. After some troubleshooting and support, the issue was rectified.

Summary: It is a great software and has helped us improve our internal organisation and client management. We are satisfied.

Positive: I have been impressed with AMFG's defence-level security features. We have great confidence in the system and how it protects our information. For anything we were concerned about, the AMFG team was happy to explain and answer with facts.

Negative: I find the system difficult to navigate sometimes. But the team have made contact to assist me with further training.

Summary: Overall, jobs within our company have improved. We find it easier to solve problems with AMFG and our organization within the company has improved. The biggest benefit AMFG has for my position is that it provides a complete overview that is needed to track quality and performance.

Positive: Since my company has started using AMFG’s MES software, my job has become significantly easier and more organized. This is because you can identify and resolve problems that may arise as the software provided you with real-time status and live updates during production. As a CNC operator, I like how the system provides a complete overview of the production floor so I can track and analyze performance.

Negative: I have found external barriers when setting up automation, which can be annoying when we need them done quickly.
