Launched in public preview in April 2019, this application is intricately linked with Dynamics 365 Sales through robust data and workflow integration. The introduction of the 2020 release wave 1 brings a new suite of features aimed at empowering sales professionals to deliver more comprehensive and informative product demonstrations. Additionally, the enhancement of the Spatial Notes system, which allows for 3D model annotations, directly responds to customer feedback regarding difficulties in effectively communicating product information, including its functionalities and maintenance needs. This issue is especially prevalent among manufacturers of intricate machinery that experience prolonged sales cycles and heightened technical complexity, which can often leave customers feeling overwhelmed. Description
A customer recently reached out to inform us that they had lost their top technician, who decided to transition to the automotive sector due to its performance-based pay structure, which promised higher earnings. At STIHL, we support the idea of monitoring technician productivity and rewarding them accordingly; however, this required store owners to manually gather data from paper tickets and input it into spreadsheets. In response, we streamlined this process by integrating automation into RepairStorm. Furthermore, any advancements made on Repcon would leverage the benefits of our platform, which includes features such as document management, version control, a 3D engine, rules engine, development and deployment environments, auto-generated forms, ERP integrations, and predefined processes and templates, allowing us to meet various needs without increasing the operational costs associated with the company's standard applications. This comprehensive approach not only enhances efficiency but also ensures that we can adapt quickly to changing demands in the industry.
