Journal smittyoneeach's Journal: As Other Fuels Are Exhausted, We'll Still Have d_r For A Gaslight 17

CRT is "so widespread that it's harder to find places where it's not being taught" than places "where it is being taught"

Our CriticalRace.org project continues to receive attention. We have the most comprehensive database of fully-sourced documentation of Critical Race and related training in Higher Ed, Elite Private K-12 Schools, Medical Schools, and Military Academies. It is a major focus of the Legal Insurrection Foundation.

Quick, d_r, rescue us with some arid, nuanced, theoretical denial of the reality besetting us!

  • ... when you keep twisting the definition of what you're looking for. Just as you can find "leftists" and "commies" all over government when you twist those words beyond the point where they lose all meaning, you can twist your conspiracy to a point where it means whatever on earth you want it to mean - or nothing at all - and OMG IT'S EVERYWHERE!

Really your team should spearhead a hunt for sasquatch. You'd have him by lunchtime by declaring that he was actually a squirrel all along.
    • Remember that when your grandkids want you to come to the lynching party for being the wrong color.

      • I don't have enough space in this comment to write a number describing how high you turned up the hyperbole in that statement. You went way beyond ridiculous.

That said, in a previous discussion you brought up a number that I asked about, and the discussion closed shortly after I asked. Could you offer some light on where you came up with your sky-high number on abortion? [slashdot.org].
        • https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2015/nov/25/cynthia-meyer/cynthia-meyer-says-more-black-babies-are-aborted-n/ [politifact.com] is the answer, though at your link- thank you for that- I also posted a link to Maafa 21 movie, which gives the historical reasons of why those who hate poverty enough to hate the poor, have targeted BIPOC communities.

          • Thank you for coming to the JE to discuss it further. Unfortunately that JE was closed for discussion before we got very far into your claims. The numbers you offered ultimately didn't support your claims fully as they both didn't reach the 60% you claimed and they moved further from it as data from outside NYC was added in.

If you'd like to discuss it further in another JE feel free to post one, we seem to be having difficulty connecting on time in ones I post before they reach the automatic slashdot
            • Oh, that's what happened.

Maybe one day soon when I can get all the posts together that I've made over the years at http://outsidetheautisticasylum.blogspot.com/ [blogspot.com], but first I'd have to disentangle them from all the distributist posts I've made there.

The Maafa 21 movie has most of the evidence against the bigotry of Margaret Sanger and her "American Birth Control League", whose philosophy eventually became Planned Parenthood. Most reasonable people already know this.

              • Oh, that's what happened.

Indeed. Slashdot has a set time limit for JE discussions; once that limit passes the discussion is permanently closed regardless of who posted most recently, how long it's been, or how active it has been. Rather frustrating in many cases.

Just as I've told smitty, I am not interested in watching partisan movies or reading partisan blogs. I am interested in seeing direct quotes posted here that we can discuss though. Videos and blogs leave too much nuance and lead to a lot of finger pointing - especiall

                • As you pointed out- the 60% was coming from New York originally- and was a complaint about how doctors treat minority patients. Since that original time, there have been MANY people pointing this out- that doctors have a tendency to overdiagnose all sorts of scary diseases to try to get black women to abort. Planned Parenthood in particular has been placing clinics in minority areas since Margaret Sanger convinced the KKK to fund her Negro Project- coming up on a full century.

I think you're letting the pa

                  • As you pointed out- the 60% was coming from New York originally

Except when we did the math we found that it was indeed less than 60%. Maybe you just rounded several times until you got to a number that you found to be sufficiently scary or something, but it was most definitely not 60% when we used real numbers. Even the source you linked to showed that.

there have been MANY people pointing this out- that doctors have a tendency to overdiagnose all sorts of scary diseases to try to get black women to abort

Can you show me someone pointing that out? You are the first person I've ever heard make that claim. Please show me some data to support that claim.

I think you're letting the partisan nature of the debate blind you

You're entitled to your opinion, but you're simply wrong here. I

                • Probably won't read this either, so I'm putting it in a separate message for lurkers:

                  • CRT is a scare tactic that conservatives are using to try to get voters out to the polls. I will acknowledge it is a fairly well-crafted conspiracy - as I mentioned last November it's a can't-lose proposition for the GOP [slashdot.org] - but that doesn't change the fact that it is built on absolutely nothing at all. However that same lack of factual foundation makes it nearly impossible to kill as it allows cheerleaders like yourself and smitty to keep defining what it means (at least in the eyes of your team).

                    So no

I'm going to accept this at face value as a statement you believe true in the face of a mountain range of evidence to the contrary.

It is also among the laundry list of reasons why I do not take you seriously.

a mountain range of evidence to the contrary.

You "mountain range" is a lie. CRT has a very specific definition and it has never been taught or used in a K-12 school, anywhere in our country, period. It is also not a political tactic.

Your team started off by latching on to the concept, and then distorting it. They then applied the distortion to anything they wanted people to be afraid of. As I pointed out before the distortion created another conspiracy that cannot be disproven, thanks to the linguistic whac-a-mole that your team has plaid so

                    • reasons why I do not take you seriously.

That suggests that you only "take seriously" those who accept your anti-factual conspiracies without question. You would eviscerate people from outside your team who held to such strange standards, yet you openly embrace them yourself. You describe a choice that directly leads to you not being willing to partake in a discussion with someone who does not share your spiritual beliefs, yet at the same time you are blaming them for not presenting themselves in a way that you're willing to discuss with.

                    • For example: https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2022/09/january_6_pipe_bombs_get_curiouser_and_curiouser.html [americanthinker.com]. No one not on "Your Team" believes the fapping.

You did more to reinforce my statement than to refute it. If I gave dailykos as a news link you would reject it immediately. Yet you pass off a conservative blog as if it holds the greatest truths ever uttered, and you will certainly insult me for questioning that idea.

I just searched the news for anything on "January 6h pipe bombs" and unsurprisingly there is no news on it that is less than 6 months old. Certainly if your crack pot investigators were to crack this open someone else would have paid
