Start toppling the statues of Reagan. He's the "Stalin" of Wall Street.
You can see the puppet-strings on every president and candidate since '88. When they uniformly praise the Reagan legacy. Quislings - who deserve exile on the moon, for betraying "I swear to protect and defend..."

Of course, he was a delusional fool. An actor playing the role of "President". But he has been made a hallowed figure, used to sanctify the adventures of empire and values of oligarchal kleptocracy - as if they were somehow the acme of liberty.

It is almost as effective to point out to the reaganites that their beloved wouldn't even be welcomed in their party any more. Hell he specifically raised taxes on the wealthiest during his presidency, but now anyone who suggests such a thing is immediately labelled as a communist and run out of town.

A connection between ray-gun and Chicago reminds me of all the pomp and waste that went into his funeral and associated nonsense. His dead body flew more miles in two weeks than most Americans fly in a year; they even did that stupid wing-dip stunt over IL on the flight from DC to CA. What kind of conservatism is represented by that kind of pointless consumption - on the taxpayer's dollar no less?
Maybe it's just the fact that everyone can trace the decline of the nation to that wrinkled asshole's 8 years in office.
