Because after we fill girls' head with garbage about needing to be tall and thin, needing to wear high heels and makeup and the rest of it; getting them to follow celebrities who do the above... THIS is a problem.

Baby steps.

I'm sure every single girl wants to look like an unattractive female scientist wearing a labcoat and geeky safety equipment and looking plain. Especially after the garbage everyone else is throwing into their head.

I don't see why this article is of interest.

A site does something which goes against youtube's TOS - Google changes something in Youtube to block it - and sends a letter to the owner of the website. So?

If you Google it - you still get search results, and Google didn't do any tricks which we find immoral.

Why is this an article? What were we expecting? How could Google have dealth with it better?

The message he tried to put really looked like the sort of thing bots post. I'm not surprised at all an automated spam filter blocked it. He did mention 11 different 3rd party websites in it, so its not too amazing that it flagged.

But as usual facebook is run by evil commies who want to oppress our free speech and all that.

You're probably american.

Yandex is a good backup for the ever-increasing list of topics which "america" fears and feels it must "censor" in order to maintain the red-white-and-blue wall.

Incorrect. I'm Maltese.

Also are you suggesting that a russian website is less prone to censorship? What an interesting role reversal.

I'm quite sure that most people who use Google Chrome do so after finding out about it because they use Google as a search engine.

So its basically the other way around.

Moreoever, you can change the default search engine, so WOW, issue solved!

Also the only reason I ever heard of Yandex was because I saw their scraper on my website. I had never heard about it before. I guess Google is doing a GREAT job choking them.

Aren't you glad you're not getting all the government you pay for now?
