I'm leaving quite early tomorrow morning, and won't be near a computer (well, won't be near a network hookup) until the first week of January. Road trip from Minnesota to South Carolina and back again.

Yeah - So, I'm leaving Thursday to drive to South Carolina (Livin La Vida In-Laws) - and we did our "extended Minnesota Family Christmas gathering" on Thanksgiving day. That was supposed to be it - local Christmas over. Yet, Gifts kept showing up under the tree, so we had to do a mini-post-Christmas Christmas gifting.

I have, many times, felt I was being realistic when I've expected that our government, for the most part, would follow the rules my representatives have put in place. However, somehow, the frenzy over - "Oh My The Terrrists" - have enabled a few totalitarian idiots to ask the NSA to spy on us citizens.
On one hand, I don't want to wholesale add a rule against geocities links directly into my SpamAssassin configuration. On the other, this problem is getting really big.

Yeah, so there I was at 8:15PM standing in the entrance of The Fine Line Music Cafe, where the doors were to open at 8, except a hand taped sign on the door reads, "Private Party, Closed until 8:30". Grumble, grumble.

So, I'm expecting an offer letter today, with a start date of Dec 12 (next Monday), which leaves me unable to give more notice than a week. I was scheduled to go there during lunch to sign the offer. However, I got an Email this morning that has put me in a waiting mode.

However, of those people, two of them knew my by my real identity first, and the others, I've met here, and for one circumstance or another, I've found the need to convey my real identity. There is a minor possibility that a seventh knows because of their association with someone else on my friends list, but that's not the point.
