Trachman writes: Multiple videos have been posted online showing what uploaders described as hockey fans destroying a Los Angeles Police Department drone outside the Staples Center Friday night after the LA Kings won the NHLâ(TM)s Stanley Cup. Riot police were called in to break up what the LA Times described as a âoemeleeâ outside the arena following the Kingâ(TM)s victory over the New York Rangers. In one clip posted online, a drone can be seen hovering over the crowd of hockey fans before it was knocked out of the sky by people throwing shoes and clothing. The question: what was the antidrone weapon?

The easy way for Tesla to reaffirm their commitment to open source and innovation is to, specifically, allow those patents in question lapse by not to paying renewal fee. So how exactly shareholders will react? Old fashioned approach is that more competition is not good for the entity. However, Tesla realizes that freedom and liberty to create is so much more powerful, that additional entrants to the electric car industry will expand the infrastructure required to charge the cars, and, eventually, Tesla will win not by competing with others but by working and partnering with others. Remover restrictions, think outside the box and let others do the same, share success and support others and very soon you will see that everyone around you, including yourself, are incredibly successful and prosperous.

In addition to Auditing which was mentioned earlier, Accounting and Finance in modern organisations is currently organized as a large database. There is always an incentive in every organization to be more productive with less human resources and encouragement to leverage IT technologies. Knowing basic principles of Boolean logic, ability to write an excel formula, understanding indexing will put you among top 10% performers within technical knowledge criteria. This, also, also opens pathways to the management. As an additional benefit, in my experience, IT skills allows to find necessary data and analyze. In my experience significant amount of resources and time in every organization are spent communicating about the data and information.

Submission + - N.S.A. Collecting Millions of Faces From Web Images (nytimes.com)

Advocatus Diaboli writes: The National Security Agency is harvesting huge numbers of images of people from communications that it intercepts through its global surveillance operations for use in sophisticated facial recognition programs, according to top-secret documents. The spy agency’s reliance on facial recognition technology has grown significantly over the last four years as the agency has turned to new software to exploit the flood of images included in emails, text messages, social media, videoconferences and other communications, the N.S.A. documents reveal. Agency officials believe that technological advances could revolutionize the way that the N.S.A. finds intelligence targets around the world, the documents show. The agency’s ambitions for this highly sensitive ability and the scale of its effort have not previously been disclosed.

Missouri basically said, 2nd amendment applies, any laws that try to limit anything are basically void. Again, when Roe Vs Wade law or Gay marriage law became federal laws applicable to any state, even the state that does not consent. So how fucking come one federal law is applied and pushed through the throats, while some other laws are just optional. By the way, encouraging debate opponents who do not agree with one's position to move to different state, country or planet is essentially claiming moral superiority and saying that unless you think the same way I think, your opponent does not deserve to live in your neighborhood.

In fact slaves were considered as the ones who did not have a voting rights back then. I would say that to be completely fair, US should be much more careful about the rights of those who do not have US citizenship because those people, non-US citizens are much more vulnerable, and much less represented and protected than US citizens.
