Submission + - Don't use iphone below freezing (aftenposten.no) 2

TyFoN writes: According to a Norwegian woman, her phone exploded when driving to work. When contacting Apple support, they explained that the phone is only rated for 0C to 35C and since she used it in -12C the warranty was void.
This means that if you live in a country where the temperature potentially drops below 0C (32F), be careful of when you use the phone.
The article is from Aftenposten in Norwegian, a translated version is available through google.

In addition, Android Market users from 32 countries will be able to buy apps, with the addition of Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Israel, Mexico, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Singapore, Sweden, and Taiwan."
