Who told you that? Our society was built on the idea people should be free, meaning free from government, meaning free from politicians and muscular interests that could twist their arm to twist everyone's arm.

Correct. It was built on exactly those things.

It will be destroyed on the idea that rights are given, not recognized. That responsibility is only for the rich. That freedom is only important till someone is offended. That making everyone have an equal amount of stuff trumps recognizing that everyone is equal. That government knows best and every person and every government is equally exceptional.

Oh.

Thank you for your comment. I really appreciate the way ACs are not only so free with their opinions, but I have noticed that almost without fail they always offer tons of well researched supporting facts to back up their opinions.

That coupled with their awesome grasp of humor and their perfect recognition of sarcasm makes me value opinions of ACs like you so very much.

Actually you could fairly easily set up a quick, small Google Apps Account with 10 - 20 users and use the tablets and the computers to work collaboratively and simultaneously on documents created there with very little training for the Admin or the end users. Not super powerful but probably more than enough for that type purpose. Cheap too.

Who said I had any love for Bush?

Ohh. If you do not like something Obama does you are crazy and love all Republicans.

Bush reacted to 911 with the Dept of Homeland Security, The Patriot Act and the TSA. All things I fault him for. I am not sure of an Embassy attack under Bush that took place where we had very little security even as the British and the Red Cross were pulling out due to the dangers "We never saw coming".

Petty people put all of their politics in small boxes labled "D" or "R". Mostly. I believe that the government is too big, has too much control and that both parties have an interest in keeping it that way.

You though can go on a slap labels on anyone that has a different opinion than you so that you can feel better about you decisions.

I agree. Corps need some version of person-hood but it is taken to the extreme.

Is it as absurd as the believing that free shit is a right?

Remember. In this case Hobby Lobby was providing really great insurance for its employees. It also fully covered 16 of the 20 contraceptive measures mandated by Obamacare.

Of the four that are not paid for by Hobby Lobby the employee was free to purchase them for themselves. No one got fired for using the wrong type of birth control. No ones rights were violated.

I find it sad that people now count their rights by the amount of "Stuff" they are entitled too and completely give up the rights to pursue their happiness. It is easier I guess to give up the right to work for your happiness to receive free stuff.

Yup Fox has been wrong about everything. Crazy fucks.

How can they expect to be believed when they say crazy stuff all the time. The IRS thing is a joke. Just because the head of the IRS took the 5th and their hard drives failed 10 days after receiving a letter asking what the heck was going on means nothing. The whole cancel our contract thing with the back up company was nothing other than a coincidence. this stuff happens all the time. I am a Systems Manager. Everyday we lose emails off local hard drives and the exchange servers while our high capacity storage systems are offline and then cancel our off site back up. Everyday! Sometimes twice a day.

Fast and Furious? The NSA spying? Obama Care? Those dead guys in some embassy that no one other than every other embassy and the red cross knew was going bad. Please. I only listen to CNN and MSNBC. Where I never have to hear these crazy things.

Oh, you *nix kids and your fancy email implementations....

Why on earth would they use Exchange to do such a task? Exchange is a product aimed at corporate users, not customers. They would just use some flavor of their SMTP service and a program of some sort (Perl. Perl fixes everything.) to pump the messages into it.

Also, no matter how many sendmail servers you have you can't get around the fact that egress still takes bandwitdth. And they are working at a little higher scale than the "watch me nerd out more than you" listserv.
