It sometimes results in overly burdensome alimony, child support payments that supports a lavish non-working lifestyle for the former wife (in one case whom rotated through multiple lovers / sugar daddies) and does not go towards raising the children--to the point where the former husband is basically living monastically / on the brink of homelessness. Alimony cannot be discharged under bankruptcy. Primary custody almost always goes towards the woman, regardless of her actual ability to raise a well adjusted child. The justice system as a whole is radically slanted towards favoring the female partner and will default to her story despite any number of insane / impossible tales.
Of course, like the economy and everything else, this has a cooling effect on men's attitudes towards raising a family.
I'm a bit concerned that we are now using the term "ransomware" to include situations where data have been exfiltrated. It used to only mean that the data were encrypted in place, and the ransom was for the decryption key (which you still can't trust, btw. How do you know that the data weren't altered during the encryption or decryption process?).
A case where data are exfiltrated is more properly referred to as a breach.
Are we just being sloppy with language, or does calling it ransomware give companies cover to avoid penalties and responsibilities associated with breaches?

The conservation laws are statistical, at least to a degree. Local apparent violations can be OK, provided the system as a whole absolutely complies.
There's no question that if the claim was as appears that the conservation laws would be violated system-wide, which is a big no-no.
So we need to look for alternative explanations.
The most obvious one is that the results aren't being honestly presented, that there's so much wishful thinking that the researchers are forcing the facts to fit their theory. (A tendency so well known, that it's even been used as the basis for fictional detectives.)
Never trust results that are issued in a PR statement before a paper. But these days, it's increasingly concerning that you can't trust the journals.
The next possibility is an unconsidered source of propulsion. At the top of the atmosphere, there are a few candidates, but whether they'd impart enough energy is unclear to me.
The third possibility is that the rocket imparted more energy than considered, so the initial velocity was incorrectly given.
The fourth possibility is that Earth's gravity (which is non-uniform) is lower than given in the calculations, so the acceleration calculations are off.
When dealing with tiny quantities that can be swamped by experimental error, then you need to determine if it has been. At least, after you've determined there's a quantity to examine.

Apple / Mac is a premium brand (not necessarily a premium product). Practically nobody who is in the market for a Mac really cares about "price starting from", it's either in their budget or it's not. There are more and more lies all over.
These Googlers are a sad reflection of the modern approach to reality - our game is ignorance, lies and denial and these protests are just a form of it.
Terrorists are very good at pushing their messages, this is clear today. ruZia, hamas, Iran, north korea even, apparently they are very effective at this entire psyops thing. Israel needs to eliminate the threat, AFAIC this can entirely mean whiping out the entire Gaza population also I hope they take out Iran's rocket and drone manufacturing capabilities, this would help both, Israel and Ukraine.
