Hence, the "take two of these and come back if it gets worse" treatment.
My point exactly. If there is no insurance you get no detailed medical history taken, no thorough exam, no review by experienced clinicians, etc. It becomes a "do the bare minimum you can to comply with the law and move on" sort of health care.
And legislators and Judges. It is basically a one party rule theocracy in TX. Like Iran. Which is why I delete any emails with job offerings in TX without even reading them.
They did reject the AFA after all. Which would extend treatment to many people instead of turning them away for reasons of no insurance.
Because it is TX. No insurance, no treatment. And they saw fit to reject the Affordable Care Act which would have expanded coverage. Smart move there....
How much energy under ideal conditions would it take to send 100 women + a sperm bank to Mars with enough food, water, equipment, bacteria, plants, animals, etc. needed to start a viable colony? It all comes down to energy. If it requires more energy than we can deliver, then we are stuck on this planet forever. You can't cheat thermodynamics.

The aged and infirm need not apply.
Of course we must ensure the "right people" go to Mars. Just like the "right people" got seats in the Titanic's life boats.
so we could use 80 females and a diverse sperm bank.
My thought was to produce both males and females. But after hitting puberty the males wold have their sperm harvested after which they would be blown out the air lock and then their remains recycled as fertilizer.
Everyone knows it's Windows two....
How about "Come to an Educational event intended to raise awareness of the possibilities of electric vehicles". Throw in a few displays of photos of how the technology works and perhaps including a historical perspective on electric vehicles and the problem is solved. No more test drives, but rather "hands on learning demonstrations".
It also comes with a free gym membership where he can meet new and interesting people.
What this country needs is a good five cent microcomputer.
