Anyone with an IQ above 60 can be a worker at McDonalds.

Very few can invest the time, energy and have the basic brain power (110 IQ?) to be a programmer. Very very few can become great code craftsmen / architects.

The great ones produce relatively bug free code with near-zero maintenance costs over 10 years that pays for their wages many, many times over.

Great software craftsmen of 15+ years experience should be paid in excess of $300,000 or even $500,000/year with 1 to 2 of them instead of 4-5 $85,000 5--10 year range.

After my brother ignored my advice and went to a pool w/ 6 friends in west Houston (Katy) in mid-June and got sick with #coronavirus and ended up hospitalized on 3 July thru 29 July, and will need kidney dialysis weekly for life, I can confirm:

A social life is a WANT not a NEED.

I self-isolated all of July and then chose to do it all of August and now I'm half-way into September :-/ I leave the house maybe once every 3 weeks and haven't had a one-on-one conversation since I forced him to leave and go get tested.

I gave up hoping for UTF-8 years and years ago. I hoped for a while that pipedot.org would succeed, since it has a better interface and full UTF-8 support, but sadly no posts in over 2 years.

Still, it's very shameful to post UTF-8 in submissions that show up funky, especially in mid-2020.
