Actually, there is no correlation to money spent and education success. If you want the best correlation to success in education, look at parents. Children with Actively engaged, supportive parents, regardless of race, ethnicity or otherwise, are way more likely to be successful in their own education, than children with distant, uncaring adult supervision.

I support educating children, yes. However, working in Public Education, I can assure you that Educating Kids is almost secondary to all the people in Administration and in the Political Classes, who just want to report that they are doing well on "Education" with their initiatives, programs and for union goals of the same.

FYI, the number one indicator of success in school, are the parents.

There USED to be a good reason for many of them. Then they started being used to cull competition, raise prices and barriers to entry for no other reason than to make more money. This is why Taxi Medallions in certain cities are worth MILLIONS.

And from my experience, all the rules that supposedly are for "safety" and such, are more or less used a clubs and sledgehammers on competition, and doesn't actually apply to safety any longer. Technology has improved cars and safety to the point where much of those rules are just silly these days. Akin to keeping gloves in the glove box style rules (perhaps not that exactly, but you get the point) .

Think of the children is the battle cry of Tyrants everywhere. I won't vote for anyone, even if I agree 99% with them politically, if they make any statement similar to "do it for the children". I urge every slashdotter to do the same this election cycle, even if it means voting for the "other guy". No, they aren't doing it wrong. They are doing it right for their business model, because it works. If nobody saw that crap, click through the click bait, and didn't click the "share to see what happened next" only to be tricked into sharing their account details and not ever seeing what they came to see, their business model would fail.

But enough people fall for the bullshit that I really believe that is how we get GWB and BHO as presidents!

Logic is what is flowing from the Whitehouse at the moment. Dressed up legal process of trying to find out who killed the one guy kidnapped a couple years ago so we can arrest him and charge him for murder, giving fodder for the radical Muslims and a voice to them during trial. Logically, it all makes sense, until you realize that logic doesn't play a part in eliminating the real threat.

Meanwhile there are millions being killed all over the Muslim world and instead of uniting the world against Radical Islam, we're playing law and order. Political Correctness run amok and it is going to kill us all.

And when they hold a knife to your neck, you can recall that I warned you. It is coming, and we're too scared of being called names to stop it.
