Is it going to take violence to get things fixed?
We were warned that it would.
Avid UT player here (the original "UT99") and it was almost *entirely* because of the 3rd-party content (particularly the "Land of the Giants" maps) that I played the game as much as I did...
Officially, you're entirely correct, not just as it pertains to martial arts but regarding everything cultural; the official position and attitude of government, academia and media in Japan is that their "national mores" are flawless.
Unofficially, however, Japanese culture continues to celebrate many differente types of violence in blatant fashion... and this hypocritical state of affairs is perpetuated and encouraged by the status quo's refusal to acknowledge its existence...
just about the same time had all cultural celebration of violence stomped out by foreign influence
You're rather unfamiliar with Japanese culture, aren't you...
This would be pure awesomeness to show goatse on the screen of the camera to unsuspecting viewer while he aims for the shot....
I'm told there are surgeons in Mexico and Brazil who can make that happen for you...
Fruit 'beer' is not beer and is generally nasty.
You may be right but a wheat beer still isn't complete without a slice of lemon...
Is there some kind of curse surrounding 2TB drives?
Beats me; my experience with 'em is limited to one WD Elements 2TB external desktop drive (with, I believe, a 3.5" Green inside) that's been going strong for nearly a year - but I'm rabidly fanatical about placing it on a block of foam for reads/writes and immediately disconnecting it aftewards...
I've had 4 (of 15) mechanical drives fail in my small business over the last two years
Let me guess... Seagate? Let me
This is one interpretation of the constitution, known as the Federalist view. Jefferson was the founding father who was the foremost proponent of this view
Hamilton was the foremost proponent of this view; Jefferson was the foremost proponent of the opposite view (his contradictory actions re: the Louisiana Purchase notwithstanding).
I can't believe I'm defending Microsoft here, but they've really got nor responsibility to subsidize your, or anyone else's, decision to continue using the software. Where does the line end?
The end isn't the problem; XP was a streaming pile of shit from the beginning (although IANAL, I'm pretty sure Defects in Materials and Workmanship have no statute of limitations).
A "rehabilitation system" is what's needed
The guy isn't that warped; it's not as if he was uploading Pro Wrestling.
It is illegal for anyone without special permission to fly a drone over(sic) a tornado without a lot of special clearance. The "top" of a tornado will be well above the altitude limits on RC aircraft.
So you're saying that it's illegal to do something that you can't possibly manage to do anyhow...?
It's not an optical illusion, it just looks like one. -- Phil White
