I'm excited. Where I live (San Antonio) there is a choice between Grande Cable and Time Warner. Grande is incredible but only is located in a few places.

I was really sad when I moved to a home where only Time Warner was available. I'm paying a lot more for less speed and I would actually get the speed Grande offered.

One of the advantages of Chrome and Firefox is that the experience is close on any platform (mobile, linux, windows) plus the syncing allows you to carry your data (bookmarks, logins, etc) over to each device.

I doubt that Microsoft will be porting their new browser to Android and we know they won't be porting it to linux.

Most apps are not dependent on the updated android OS version so it's less of an issue. I had a windows 5 phone bought when windows 6 phones were already out. Shame on me for not doing my homework, but almost every app I was interested in required (not preferred) Windows 6.
