What makes it false? If they sell the product and make a profit, that's a basic success. Who cares if customers put the product in a drawer and don't use it? That's where many products end up -- that doesn't make them unsuccessful.

Deflation of gas prices is not the same as economic deflation across the board. Companies that raised their prices due to gas costs will not now lower their prices because gas is cheaper. They will instead be proud of their P&L. Inflation, overall, will continue.

Many in the working class work far more than 45 hrs/week for far less than $75k. You should consider yourself very lucky to be in a position where you are comfortable enough to decline a job that pays that well.

What the candidate is worth and what the candidate thinks they are worth (and what the company thinks they are worth, for that matter) are all very different things.

Everywhere I've ever lived, you pay income tax where you work, then pay more where you live, if tax rates are higher where you live.

No, this is not the case everywhere. For example when I lived in Indiana and worked in Michigan, my state income tax was paid to Indiana. Anecdotes don't work when talking about state taxes because there is too much variance.

Districts get redrawn, usually by the party in control of the legislature. Yes, eventually it might because very difficult (or impossible) to gerrymander enough districts for them to keep control but for now, the state is losing population and usually from blue areas (Detroit, Flint, etc) not Red areas (everywhere else including Grand Rapids).

No, they can and will drill both of those things into your head. What they are looking for is healthy people who are willing to die for whatever it is our military asks them to do.
