First, one of Target's HVAC guy lost an ID. BUT, target has NOT found that the ID was used to get in there and that was the entry point.

Yet, the one thing that amazes me, is that they totally ignore the fact that not only did Target offshore a great deal, but esp. their production was offshored.
And this was the group that is paying their Indian software engineers, about $7-9K/year (India, like china, plays games with their money against the dollar). How easy is it to offer somebody say 70K to simply open a port, or to leave a back door, etc, and NOT have it be found? Keep in mind that $70K in India, with the current rupee money, is a 10 year salary. You can quietly leave target, get another job elsewhere and have your retirement fully taken care of.
Yes, one group said that something was going on, but the group in India that was dealing with Production IGNORED IT. More importantly, the idiots in target that offshored this, were the ones that ignored the warnings.

And now, utilities are being stupid and following suite. It is time for shareholders to SUE the day lights out of Target and companies like this that offshore.

You should never have bought 4 MB's. They really do SUX. Highly overpriced for what you get and breaks down far too often (though it was more of the ones prior to 2000 that were horrible).

In light of how SpaceX has destroyed Airbus, I am amazed that MB, Audi, Porsche, etc have the attitude that they do. Yes, they will have the German gov. forcing everybody to buy their crap, but outside of Germany, it will not happen.

lets see. Not a hybrid, but an electric car. Runs Linux, not IOS. And has the cheapest prices for batteries going. In fact, they charge 10K for 20 KWH batteries, while Nissan, toyota, GM, MB, etc. are paying $20K for inferior batteries that are not even properly conditioned.

Just 5-6 years ago, airbus, esp. the Germans inside of Airbus, were blasting SpaceX and saying that it would never be a threat to them. Now, they want 10's of billions / year in subsidies. Basically, they are in deep trouble.
Now, along comes the CEO of a company that I would say is HIGHLY overrated, and says that Tesla is overrated. Wait for just 3 more years. MB, Audi, Porsche, etc. buyers will realize that they produce nothing but expensive junk.

And yet, everybody screams about America that emits only 15%, ignores Europe that emits about 16% (and climbing), and China at over 1/3 of all CO2.

And yet, that is a joke. China emits more than 1/3 of the CO2 emissions in the world today. America is below 15%. And Europe-OECD is actually ABOVE America. The problem is, that IPCC normalizes in bizarre fashions. The idea that CO2 emissions are compared in a national way is a joke. Germany's emission are climbing fast and yet, total emissions are below America. Many nations in Europe are fairly low, and yet, in terms of CO2 / $GDP, they are monster high.

One of the real problems with China is that few fully realize how bad of shape they are in. When OCO2 comes out and the numbers are measured for CO2 flows in and out of CHina, the world is in for a shock.

Seriously, the more that I see of today's profs the less impressed I am. Have you noticed how many announcements are made about various new items that never make it to market, or even to change the R*D? In some cases, it is all predicated on lies. The profs that the universities are hiring are HORRIBLE, and getting worse. Bad R*D and bad teaching.

The American universities are falling apart, in no small part, because of the quality of ppl being hired.

These attacks have cost them 10s to 100s of millions. Yet, they are only willing to put up .25M. This shows how poorly ran American companies are today.

Seriously, GPE can convert the coal to methane at a costs of around 6-7/MMBTU. That can be sold to Europe and Asia. And yes, Europe will buy it since Russia is now holding them hostage. And in Asia, it will sell for 3-4x what it costs.

exactly right. What is needed is NOT to try and destroy them, but instead to get them to change because you DO have large investments.
In addition, they need to put their money where their mouth is. Get them to put in geo-thermal HVAC on campus. Put in solar panels that were built by these companies. Heck, if these schools would go together and say that they will buy X amount of solar panels from one of those companies if they built them in the USA, they could help those companies make the jump. At the same time, they gain with cheap electricity.

Instead, push them to put in geo-thermal into your school for HVAC, OR buy some of their solar panels if they sell them, IOW, make it happen by buying from them and supporting them to change things. Simple as that.
