Theia was in the same orbit as Earth just a bit faster, it didn't collide as much as hit off center. Theia is made up of it's self and Earth's crust and why the Moon has no iron core. The series "How the Universe works" has a great animation of it.
If Theia had formed substantially closer, or substantially farther away from the Sun, then the debris from the collision could hardly have remained close enough that the shards would coalesce to form the Moon. The differing orbital velocities would have seen to that.

Thank you for that typo... now I have that picture in my mind where a tribe of native americans, all of them wearing lab coats and glasses, are on their horses chasing the famed Higgs Bison!
The R? Not enough room in the subject line.
Isn't that still too high of an energy level for string theory to be pursued any longer?
2. disinfects - also mostly pointless in the backcountry
Dealing with infections while in the wilderness is pointless, huh? Holy shit are you ignorant.
I guess. One of our party hit a rotten log with an axe, it went through it like paper and sliced open their foot. A week to go a disinfect kept it clean and healthy, alcohol was the only thing available.
A first aide kit was handy, but lacking as they can't cover all injuries.
From what I understand through an article on
Apple bought Primesense, which makes the sensor in the original Kinect. I bet they can't meet demand because they cant get the chips anymore. The Kinect 2 is a totally different tech. Maybe they'll sell a Windows version of that?
That makes so much sense, not having enough of a of a product to continue distribution is better PR, than they won't let up have them anymore
Everyone knows that real pros use the _strrev function...
Never heard of _strrev function so looked it up, it doesn't look easy to implement for the cross platforms.
http://stackoverflow.com/quest... so yes a real pro would or could make use of it.
