in the previous comment, I mean that I haven't experienced a crash, or the need to reboot in a month. KDE may not be the most bug-free DE out there, but in terms of reliability, I've experienced nothing but improvement over the past few years.

I've been running KDE on arch for the past one month without a single crash. Been using KDE for years now. 4.0 was buggy, but the latest releases are extremely stable. I understand that mine may be an isolated case, but your comment may have an equally unreliable basis. Simply wanted to point that out.

sorry, about that, point accepted. Given that everyone's a doctor at home and given the interchangeable usage of the terms viruses and bugs (biologically speaking of course), I extrapolated the interchangeability to the computer domain. Unintentional, purely.

There are quite a few windows bugs out there. This one makes changes to the registry and moves files and folders around. Most of the other bugs do that anyway. I didn't read the whole article, of course, but it seems like this isn't really all that news-worthy. The only difference that I can see is that it moves more stuff around than the other bugs. Or perhaps there was a point and I missed it.

Agreed. The "white board problem solving" technique is heavily biased towards candidates who "prepare" for interviews and who, in the course of their "preparation" happen to have come across the problem before. As an interview technique, I wouldn't give it much credit.
