Journal Roblimo's Journal: Everything Obama Does Is Wrong 9
Letâ(TM)s all blame Obama for everything bad that has ever happened to any American, anywhere in the world.
Now that weâ(TM)ve got that out of the way, can we please pull together and try to solve this countryâ(TM)s problems?
Thank you,

I think the biggest obstacle facing Obama is that he is actually trying to solve our Country's problems. People aren't used to that.
No, the obstacle facing him is that most people DISLIKE HOW he is trying to solve what he perceives to be the country's problems (and in that you should also read that part of his problem is that he sees problems that most other people think ARE NOT problems).
I like solving problems. I can't see how his massive new spending and new government controls will solve any problems I see, though.

I don't see ANYONE blaming Obama for everything. In fact, I see a lot more people on the right being loathe to blame Obama for various, than I saw people on the left do the same (RFK Jr. literally blamed Bush for Katrina ... not for the preparation or aftermath, but for causing the hurricane itself). I see a lot of people wondering if Obama's policies contributed to this guy being on the plane, but that is legitimate and necessary questioning (and much more tame than what the left did to Bush).
Sure, there

Which American list would Nigeria have referenced when allowing the man to board?
Which American list would the Netherlands have referenced when allowing the man to board the plane he tried to blow up?
Ideally, would have been a list that at least triggered secondary screening, which likely would have found the device.
At some point, we have to realize that there are other countries out there, and sometimes people come from them to our nation. Even if the man WAS on our no fly list my understanding of how international flights work is that the best we could have done was ordered the plane to turn around and go back after we get the passenger list (in other words he'd have tried to blow the plane up over Amsterdam).
Well, no, because the airline would not have allowed him on, as I understand it, if they knew we wouldn't allow them to land. That scenario would mean someone messed up.

pudge, you live in the middle of the Northwest People's Republic. I live in the Land of Stupid Plants (Flora Duh) where the governor claims to have stopped hurricanes by putting prayers in the wailing wall in Jerusalem, and my very own Congressional representative, "Call Me Vern" Buchanan, blames Obama for damn near everything. Why, we have Republicans here who blame Obama for such evils as slow service at McDonald's, the only U of F football loss this year, Lincoln's assassination, raindrops that keep fall

Roblimo, I know all about it, and you're referencing the occasional wacko (and I know about Greer, and some of the things he's been attacked for saying he didn't actually say ... not to say he is entirely sane, though).
And the point is still the same: you can't convince the wackos to not be wackos, and you cannot prevent partisans from being partisan (just ask Nancy Pelosi, who cheered dissenters under Bush, but attacked them as un-American this year).
You won't win any points with anyone this way: the wacko

Now we are all learning what it’s like to reap the whirlwind of fossil fuel dependence which Barbour and his cronies have encouraged. Our destructive addiction has given us a catastrophic war in the Middle East and--now--Katrina is giving our nation a glimpse of the climate chaos we are bequeathing our children.
That quote from RFK, from that HuffPo article, is an assertion that manmade climate change caused Katrina. He further says Bush and Barbour are longstanding contributors to that manmade climate change, pushing it through policies they have backed and enacted.
It's easy to connect the dots when RFK Jr. acually lays them out for you to connect.
Of course, RFK Jr. is a complete wackjob, also pushing the lies that the Ohio election was stolen in 2004, and that vaccines cause autism.
