Heh. I read it as the classic Sgt Schultz "I see nothing" response combined with lower your expectations.

But I'm a hopeless pessimist and if I could think happy thoughts, I'd have been able to fly by now.

Well, this [thesoulgarage.com]portion of the site reminds me of the scene in Woody Allen's "Sleeper" where he goes to a pay confessional booth and gets absolved of his sins in exchange for money. Heheheh... I guess my true feelings about this person are starting to come out. ;P

Its a classic theory v reality. In theory, yes letting go of your worries help you focus on doing what you need to do. Reality, with a wife, kids, dogs, and a house you have to provide for- not so easy.
