Journal Shadow Wrought's Journal: NFL Predictions (Via Dice - of course;-) 2

Well, just in the nick of time, I have my predictions for the playoffs. As I did last season, I used dice to predict the results, but used a more complicated method. How well it worked... well, it gave an answer, so that's good enough for now;-)

Cowboys - 13
Seahwaks - 22

Giants - 12
Eagles - 17

Chiefs - 12
Colts - 17

Jets - 13
Patriots - 15

Personally, I think the Dice are wrong about the Jets and the Chiefs, but who am I to question pretty little nuggets of plastic? COntinuing on:

Seahwks - 18
Bears - 21

Eagles - 18
Saints - 24 OT

Patriots - 16
Chargers - 24

Colts - 20
Ravens - 21

I think its cool that I predicted an OT game 2 weeks in advance;-) In the Championships then:

Ravens - 29
Chargers - 27

Saints - 17
Bears - 33

These actually aren't all that difficult to buy. If Chicago gets a TD and some field goals on offense, a couple more on Defense, and then a return, they could score that much. I can also see Marty ball costing the Chargers a win down the stretch by giving the ball back to the Ravens with just enough time to hit a last minute field goal. The Super Bowl then:

Ravens - 25
Bears - 22

So, there you have it. Ravens Win! Ravens Win!

  • While I can appreciate the plasty-nuggets giving the "seawhaks" the nod this week, I gotta hope that this year we get to the super bowl and WIN (most likely facing San Diego - does anybody else remember when LT stood for Lawrence Taylor, the scary defensive player with the Giants a few years back?)! Trying to get two or more cornerbacks and some more quality o-linemen into the program for next year, as well as returning our receivers to "catch the ball and HOLD ON TO IT" camp means that if we don't do it t
