With good intelligence, one cruise missile would take out Mugabe and perhaps much of the current corrupt leadership (just hit them when they're together). If Britain thinks it's the right thing to do, what's stopping you?

You could always arm the opposition so they can fight off Mugabe's thugs. It wouldn't even cost much, but you seem to have qualms about such means.
