All this Wii talk has me wanting one, but I don't feel like paying above retail on ebay, or holding my wee. When should I plan on it being on amazon for normal ordering?

Target got a shipment in on 1/21. They'll have more shipments arriving soon -- ask at the electronics counter. itrackr is sometimes right about Wii's being in stock. The key is to get to the store when it opens.

BTW, I knew about the 1/21 shipment but opted to spend my money other places. :)
