Journal slothman32's Journal: maximum wage 3

I read a poster a few weeks back that said something like "lower the maximum wage." Now for you people who think the min wage should exist or even go up, why shouldn't there be a max wage that is lower?
Under a pure capitalist system there would be neither. Of course then really poor people, at least Dems think so, would be out of luck. Under this same system there would be no max and a baseballer's salary could actually be 1 million times a year than a skid row jobtaker.
I personally don't think that the entertainers, though definitely useful, are worth [italics]that[/] much. Yes the world, or at least the part that can afford them, would be boring without them but compared to a garbage worker they have it easy.
P.S. It would be good if there was a setting that allowed HTML tags but didn't require [p]'s and other ones needed just to make it readable.
Also what does "extrans" do?

    • I actually saw your site, and friended you. I have been thinking that an inherited position isn't much worse, if at all, that an elected position with an uneducated populous.
I was thinking that, like the UK, there could be an popular house as well as a "noble" house.
The popular would be decided by caucus which is better that voting since it has opinions involved.
The noble house by appointment by the monarch or something.
Of couse a "Bill of Rights" like document would be very important.
