Your comment is what's ignorant. Those flux core guys are some of the hardest to automate away because they are out in the field fixing stuff that's broken right now. The easy welding jobs to automate are ones done on assembly lines. Most of that is already done by machine, but not all of it, so that's what's getting automated next. After that it will be stuff like pipelines, where you have a huge number of similar welds to do. Getting down to the more ad hoc jobs will take longer.

The OS for consumers is the same as the OS for business, just with some functionality turned off (and it can be turned back on, though it's not obvious or supported.) And the one thing supports the other. With less home use there will be less business use.
