Then they will do something else. Where does this line of reasoning end, just stopping innovation to preserve raw labor numbers? Â Look at the industrial revolution, the most significant example of this type of change in the history of mankind. Yes there were people who were left behind [most notably in agriculture] but on balance humans' quality of life is dramatically better.

Seriously dude⦠âoeruling classâ. Thatâ(TM)s a bit much. Innovation is innovation, spreadsheets didnâ(TM)t mark the end of the road for accountants, CAD did didnâ(TM)t eliminate architects and engineers. Tho it did save a lot of lower back pain those drafting tables created.
