If you somehow figure out who I work for, thats great. Just know my opinions are my own, etc, and I don't represent anyone but me.

I devised a very clever highly random and (theoretically) easy to remember password for my slashdot account (protohiro [slashdot.org]). Sadly, like a complete moron I forgot my password anyway, so I am now scarred forever with a username with a digit after it. Sure I could have just gone ahead and devised a new username. But, protohiro was devised in 1995, when I was a teenager, flush from reading Snow Crash. In a lot of ways a username so clearly derived from a popular science fiction book is juvenile, but I've had the name for seven years, and goddammit, I can't change.

I live in San Francisco now, so I am living my life long dream of being surrounded by computers: two old tibooks, a Athlon x2 4200, a PIV 2.53ghz pIV, a Powerbook G4 13" and a MacBook Core Duo.
