Journal m2bord's Journal: My brother in law has been published 1

My sister, you gotta love her, married a young man she met at MIT. Both are uber-geeky, both are somewhat reserved, and both have the same birthday. One thing this gentleman is not...a slouch.

He has worked with several other uber-geeks on mapping MicroRNA and while I have no idea what that means in the grand scheme of things, I do know that his work is more important to the human species than my work on encryption.

  • Cell [cell.com] is one of the most respected journals in the biological sciences. I seem to recall it having an impact factor around 30 or better (depending on whose scale you chose).

    On a side note, I was myself just at a conference where I met several of the other biologists at Whitehead (MIT/Broad Institute). They have quite a group of people working there, doing some excellent work. You should be proud for your broth
