Journal jawtheshark's Journal: New fans.... (Update 22:59CET 3 July 2003) 103
Sometimes I go on a befriending spree. Just like that (happened at Christmas last year for example) This time however, I'm going to ask the opinion of my new fans! Yeah, if you want me as your friend, give me a reason. A funny one is good, an insighful one is better. A good reason is best. So there you go:
- asparagus (29121) -- Writes in his journal but not much. From his entries I can see he's a geek and likes to play around with journal entries. He also gets a lot of positive moderations which means he's either funny or has interesting things to say. A good candidate. Never has replied to me however, which adds again negative points.
- baby_head_rush (131448) -- Frequent journal entries that seem to make sense. Posts pictures and talks about normal geek life. He has one post modded insightful, which seems to be moderated correctly. Also a good candiate. Never has replied to me however, which adds again negative points.
- capoccia (312092) -- A not so frequent journal poster, but the topics seem interesting. Posts at +2, which I do not like, but gets modded up regularly. Never has replied to me however, which adds again negative points.
- Cy Guy (56083) Occasional journal postings. Seems to have to do something with plastic.com, whatever that is. Doesn't always post at +2 and gets modded up on a regular basis. Don't know yet what to think of him.
- Cyberdyne (104305) -- Only one journal entry, indicating a hardcore American patriot. Negative points on that. Posts at +2, and has no relevant mods. Not sure at all about this one.
- eugene ts wrong (682632) -- Since he is an impersonator, he must have a damned good reason.
- evil_toy_maker (614007) -- A very new account, no journals. However he (she, could be, slashdotters are by definition male when I meet them) had a rather funny and lengthy conversation with me. That is a definately plus. A likely candidate.
- kingofnopants (600490) -- Also a recent account. Never said a word to me. Barely no journal entries. Gets good moderations. I have no opinion about this guy with a funny nick, yet.
- MousePotato (124958) -- Regular Journal poster, gets no replies though... Sad, eh? I know I talked to him, or at least I saw him post in other peoples journals. No moderations, but I look at him as a likely candidate.
- Pirogoeth (662083) -- A new account. I have no recollection of talking to him. Journal entries were regular, but stopped end May. Posts at +2, but gets moderated up a lot. Not sure yet, but he looks like a good guy.
- Red Warrior (637634) -- New account. He talked to me in a political discussion and is too pro-Bush. He has been on the "waiting list" for very long. That has a good reason. Definately a shaky candidate.
- rkz (667993) -- A new account. He talked to me and knows who Corporate Troll is. A regular poster, but seems to be a Troll himself. Definately a positive candidate. Not very sure though
- saunder3 (632099) -- A new account, no journal entries. Never talked to me. Uses short sentences and generally has short replies. A mystery to me.
- VTS (673706) -- No journal entries, posts are always just one or two sentences. Seems to have stopped posting end May. He also never talked to me. Not a very likely candidate.
So, my new fans.... I give you the chance to express yourselves! A reply to this journal is considered a major plus. If you decide to remove me from your friends list, I will not be mad and you will not earn "foe" status. Nobody earns foe status just like that... not with me at least.
Good luck...
