I used ghosteryon chrome, and it gave me a nice idea of what brave is blocking, natively. I use multiple email accounts for various purposes. One of which is, when I can easily spot a spoofing email about some financial account,in the account I use for general use. I am using 2 browsers for somewhat the same purpose. Brave and Chrome. The only time I use Firefox these days is to test something for compatability. I appreciate googles support of the Firefox project, alternatives are good, however, I want to firewall general browsing from important stuff, and Firefox does not fit that bill. Neither does chrome. Brave has a shot

I have a lot of success using online forums, even Microsoft's. The response in the forums was I had an illegal version of Vista. The response on the phone was that it was legal. I returned it to Microsoft and got my money back

Reposted from an email received - IMSLP under attack from Music Publishers Association (UK)
By Robert Douglass
IMSLP.org, our valuable partner, is a site that serves as a library of public domain classical music. They are very careful to only engage in storing and distributing works that are in the public domain, and the site is an immensely valuable resource to all of us. They will also store and distribute the public domain score and recording of the Goldberg Variations that you are helping us create.
Today, the copyright bullies, the Music Publishers Association (UK), managed to shut IMSLP.org down, apparently for 10 days, by disputing the legality of hosting a piece by Rachmaninoff - a piece which is clearly in the public domain in the US and Canada.
This is just another reminder of why the Open Goldberg Variations project is important; asserting the public domain licensing of our important cultural treasures is apparently the only way to protect against attacks from the MPA.

Submission + - The IMSLP Has Been Taken Down By UK Publishers 2

gacl writes: According to a post at the IMSLP Journal, the IMSLP, the largest site on the 'net providing public domain sheet music, has been taken down yet again. The UK-based Music Publisher's Association has sent GoDaddy, the IMSLP's domain registrar, a DMCA takedown notice. The IMSLP argues that the notice is bogus. More detailed discussions on the matter can be found at the IMSLP Forums.
