    • But the question is not necessarily who REALLY has the bigger rack, but rather which one gives the APPEARANCE of being bigger. A skinny woman with C's looks like she has a bigger chest than a heavy woman with D's ;-)

      So as always, it'll come down to the appearance generators and PR flaks, not reality.

      Seriously, you are spot on. Remember that much of the Republican surge in the south came when the Southern Dems jumped ship in response to civil rights legislation.
      • I think y'all are underestimating the hatred for Hillary, and the joy many Republicans would have in seeing her "hoist by her own petard" as it were, running against not only a woman, but a black woman. I think those factors could overcome the basic resistance of some elements of the southern contingent.
        • Oh, I certainly understand how much Republicans hate Hillary. I don't know why the Dems are thinking of nominating such a polarizing figure. They'd do better picking some Democratic governor with little negative press prior to the election and especially with no Congressional voting record.

          If Clinton and Rice get their respective party's nominations, expect some Republican racist and sexist nutjob to try putting a bullet in both their heads.

          But a lot of Democrats are brain-dead followers just like the Republicans, so the in your senario I think it would be more likely that the "conservative" vote would be split, and we'd get President Hillary.

          I think it would be great if we had a female president.... but NOT HER!

  • 1: She'd loose. The only interpretation of Bush's presidency that doesn't have him being evil and her being braindless is him not caring and HER being evil.

      Having our first female president, damn the qualifications, is not my idea of a good plan or a "win". I don't want to see either one of them running the country, and it has nothing to do with their chromosomes.
