Journal ellem's Journal: My new grill 21
As many of you know I have two things I want to be remembered for:
1) Be remembered as a good father.
2) Have people remember the aroma of my BBQ.
This should help. It's my 3rd Weber. I went back and forth between Ducane, Vermont Castings and Weber. Ultimately I decided that Weber has never done anything wrong by me and here we are:

Indeed. He's been doing rather well of late, and has been unlucky to miss out on some good results due to mechanical failures. It'll be interesting to see if he stays with Williams or jumps ship to Renault next season.

I'm a Weber fan, myself, but am much more of a charcoal man (though my wife is convincing me to get a gas just cause of the time it takes to get the coals ready, even with my charcoal chimney...)

And it's got plenty of space - and stainless shelves (unlike those plastic thingys on the sides of yours.)
Finally, you won't rotisse nothing IF YOU AIN'T GOT ONE. Leg of lamb, chicken...I'm thinking gyros next.

What do you think of Steven Raichlen [bbqu.net]? His show convinced me that I should try a number of different techniques, so I'll be getting about 6 different grills

Even with Steven's skill, I'll expect the end result was tough, stringy, and contaminated all the utensils
