You hit the nail on the head. Looking up license plates SHOULD requires a WARRANT, signed by a Judge. That would greatly decrease the abuse of the system. Go ahead, try to get a judge to sign off on you tracking your ex's whereabouts, I'll wait...

Which is stuipid, since there is a gate a half my from my house that delivery can't go through, so no delivery service can make it to my house. They could leave it at the gate and hope I get to it before the critters do, but if I have to travel a half mile to get my food, I might as well travel all the was to the restaurant, don't you think? I also keep yelling at my daughter for using Doordash (since I'm paying for her food), although she claims she usually picks it up herself instead of paying someone $10 to deliver it.

Every time I apply for a job, I have to send them a copy of my driver's license to prove my idea. Likewise, when somebody claimed on Facebook that I was impersonating myself, I had to send Facebook a copy of my driver's license (which they misread, since it was last name first, and changed my Facebook ID to lastname firstname middle name). So it would be trivially easy to solicit job applications and collect DL scans.
