Audio recording without consent is already illegal under the wiretap laws in most states. The weird thing is that video recording without consent isn't!

The difference is that when someone points a cellphone lens at you, you know they are recording you, and that the best response is to silently turn around and walk away. Surreptitious recording is done without consent or the victim's knowledge. That being said, it might be a good idea to record consent before sex, and for girls at frat parties to wear smart glasses to prove there was no consent.

Wait... the license plate provided by the state couldn't survive being outside in the sun, and that's YOUR fault???

The cop(s) that LIED in the arrest report and said her car had damage matching the damage that would have been caused by the hit-and-run should be in jail!

And I'm sure it was VERY STRONGLY WORDED too!

1. All license or face matches done by AI need to be verified by a human being before acting on them.

2. I warrant signed by a judge should be required to track anybody by telling the system to alert you every time their license plate goes by a camera.

On the serious side, at somepoint making things thinner just makes them weaker, with not real benefit to the user.

My biggest complaint about the Neo is it doesn't have a Thunderbolt port. The Mac Airbook I bought my daughter did, and it was on sale for about the same price as a Neo just before Christmas. My favorite Mac feature is the fingerprint reader for quick login.

If Democrats gain control of both the House and Senate, doesn't that give them a huge mandate to repeal the big beautiful boondoggle?

Microsoft still owns billions of dollars worth of prime Redmond real estate. I suspect in a few years they will go the Tektronix route, and only manage to post a profit every year by selling off and/or leasing out that real estate. I was just working for XBox, it's full of old-timers eyeing the exit. I'd cash out the stock options while they can still get good money for them if I were them.
