My car's tires look low. I mean, I know they're supposed to look a little low, but they look lower then that even. Yet, when I use one the cheesy little pressure gauge I have, they come up at 35 psi, where 30-35 is what is litsted in my owner's manual. That was after the car sat overnight, some 12 hours without driving. Hmmm... Should I get a better gauge, or can I trust those types of gauges?

A tire's pressure can change by 1 psi for every 10 degrees Fahrenheit of temperature change.
I tend to believe my cheap little gauge, mainly because I verified it against a couple other cheap little gauges and they all read about the same. Stop at a full service gas station and ask the attendant if you can borrow his gauge, then compare that to what your gauge sa

I know it's more accurate than the ones on the hoses at the gas station or one on a tire pump.
It reads fairly close to the digital one my bike mechanic has.
